Nice to see you both 'in person!' I'm so sorry about your friends - good
friends of mine drove down from Rhode Island to Staten Island with a car
full of 'stuff,' including diapers, food, well, you know, all sorts of things
folks would need. The hub, my broker, spent most of the day mucking out
cellars and helping around homes hit by Sandy.

I've donated but from Las Vegas that's about all I can do - Amazon has a
bridal registry listed for 'Occupy Sandy & Occupy Sandy' and you can (and I
did) make donations of stuff from the long list of what they need. Clever
and useful way to help out New Yorkers.

[vpFREE] NOLA Trip Report

 

Hi Gang:
After taking it on the chin from Hurricane Sandy last week, Hedy and I were
looking to get away from all the craziness in New York for a few days. The
choice of exchanging the Big Apple for the Big Easy was an obvious one,
so we jumped on a plane and headed South for a couple of days of R&R. If
you're interested, you can use the link below to check out our report about a
trip that included unbelievable swings in the casino, a Saints football game
in the SuperDome, a visit to Besh Steakhouse and Manning's Sports Bar and
