Re: [vpFREE] Las Vegas Bound

If you will be staying on the Strip or going to Strip hotels, I'd recommend you use Uber or Lyft since most Strip hotels are charging a lot for parking.

Taxis have instituted a base fee vs a variable fee. Check out the cost of renting a basic compact at auto slash.com. May save you money or marginally cot you more than a bus. All depends on where you are staying and how mobile you want to be.

Hi Everyone. Has been a long time since I have posted. Also has been a longer time since we have been in Las Vegas-about 6 years! I have been trying to find current information on general things, like road construction on Las Vegas Blvd or near there. I googled and the most recent was from Nov. stating that it was delayed. Is it true that you need to buy a bus pass for 2 hours for $6 or a pass for 24 hours for $8? I did read about the recent downgrades with the station casinos. Was so hoping for a round on full pay deuces at the Palms. I feel like a newbie. We used to go several times a year. Costs for everything in Las Vegas had steadily gone up over the years, but taking the bus was inexpensive. I guess I am in for a rude awakening. Does everyone use Uber/Lyft instead of taxis and buses? Any basic info is very much appreciated.

Thanks for your help,

Peg

I believe I read that FPDW has been removed.  I checked VPFree just now and only found Loose Deuces at the Palms—no FPDW.

Re: [vpFREE] Las Vegas Bound

Peg, much better to buy a local bus pass on the phone app or a local day pass is still $5. I always use them on express buses and never have had any problems. I use the bus and  lyft occasionally when I dont rent a car.
