Re: [vpFREE] Jean Scott's Frugal Vegas LVA BLOG - 31 JUL 2020

The semi stack on top of your betting chips, referred to as a rolling toke will take care of this problem. # 1, it gives you the control of when to take down the toke and give to the dealer. Second benefit, if the toke wins, the dealer will be getting the house's money, which they LOVE. Disadvantage is that if the pit honcho's see you doing this, it puts them on alert. Without a comfy 4 or 5 to 1 bet spread, I have done none of the above for years.

As most everyone knows, Brad loves to tip.  And because we were such regulars at the Palms, we knew so many of the employees.  So that day we hit the dealt royal on 100-play, we did spread around a lot of bills.  I remember I even dashed into the salon to share some jackpot money with my nail girl!  We didn't routinely share it with nearby players, but once Brad did.  That is a funny story I plan to put in an upcoming blog!

I have always been a fan of Jean Scott but I had never met her in person. I was visiting from out of state (San Diego). Playing at the Palms on the progressive $1 double bonus bank. Drew four to an Ace and hit the Royal. While I waited to be paid, a lovely lady and her husband came up and graciously congratulated me. Then they both sat down directly behind me to play quarter 100 play.
I thought they looked familiar and asked the lady sitting next to me if that was Jean Scott.  Yes. She said that was Jean and Brad. Just then I heard a jubilant commotion. Jean had been dealt a pat royal for $100,000!    A few minutes later while they were waiting to get paid, Brad drew one to a royal ( If I remember correctly ) and got a bunch of royals.
I finally got my W2G and cash and scampered off to breathlessly call my San Diego friend ( also a Jean Scott fan and the person to whom I was trying to forward this post today)
I didn't stick around to see who she tipped but I heard several floor folks chattering about the big win.  It was    obvious she and Brad were well loved among the Palms crew members.

Any dividends that were earned through July will be honored and available through the end of this year."

vpFREE Policies and Posting Guidelines

http://usma1955.com/20228/V/POL.htm

The vpFREE Video Poker Group is a free internet forum for the
discussion and exchange of information about video poker and video
poker related topics. vpFREE is dedicated to sharing, promoting and
preserving good video poker situations that can survive and prosper in
an open market environment.

1. Every vpFREE member is expected to observe and practice the vpFREE
Posting Guidelines and the rules of Netiquette.

2. Every vpFREE member is expected to report inventory changes to
vpFREE2 and/or the vpFREE forum, unless they believe it's better not
to publicize the games either for their own benefit or for the video
poker community as a whole.

3. vpFREE is semi-moderated, which means that established members
aren't normally moderated, but individual members can be moderated for
cause. All new members are moderated, to help prevent spam messages,
until they have made a legitimate post.

4. The preferred method for marketing products and services on vpFREE
is an unobtrusive link underneath the signature at the end of a post.
In addition, a member may make a maximum of one vp-related promotional
post in any 6 month period.

5. Every vpFREE member should agree with the vpFREE Terms of Service:
http://usma1955.com/20228/V/POL_TOS.htm

6. vpFREE is, and will always remain, a non-profit operation. Neither
vpFREE nor the vpFREE Administrator has any financial interest, direct

endeavor.

7. The vpFREE Administrator makes, interprets and enforces the rules
and policies for vpFREE.

8. Everyone should read and be familiar with the vpFREE FAQ before
posting messages on the vpFREE Forum.

9. Every message's subject line should accurately identify the content
of the message, to facilitate faster navigation by interested or
uninterested members.

10. If you reply to a message and change the subject matter, either
start a new thread (preferable) with a new subject line or rename the
subject line to reflect its new focus.

11. When replying to messages, quote just enough of the previous post
to maintain continuity. Delete the rest of the previous post.

12. When replying to messages, clearly differentiate the previous
message(s) from your comments, so that it will be easy to identify who
wrote what.

13. Never post lengthy copyrighted material verbatim without
permission. This includes posts from non-vpFREE internet forums.
Instead, post a link to the material and/or a summary. Short, credited
excerpts may be quoted.

14. Don't use any vpFREE member's real name, even their first name, on
the vpFREE forum unless they themselves use their real name there.

15. Casino personnel probably monitor vpFREE Groups so posts
containing sensitive information should take this into consideration.

16. Any post that disagrees with vpFREE Dogma and reaches
contradictory conclusions, should be supported with significant,
persuasive documentation. Generalizations and limited anecdotal
evidence aren't persuasive.

17. Most vpFREE members rely on the forum for accurate information,
and may misunderstand, misinterpret or be confused by tongue-in-cheek
posts which are presented as fact. Always make it very clear in your
posts if they are tongue-in-cheek, by using "smilies", stating that
you're kidding or something similar.
