On Nov. 11th I pulled into Butte, Montana on the last leg of a very long loop around the casinos of the southwest, midwest, and upper midwest then back into the northwest.  This trip usually takes about two months. I checked into my usual hotel.  When I went to bed I felt some chest pain but didn't think anything of it. The room started getting to warm so I got up to turn the heater down. I got dizzy and started throwing up.  I fell back on the bed in a cold sweat and heart palpitating. I lay there for a few minutes waiting for it to stop but it wouldn't. I got to make a move I thought. I got up, quickly dressed then went down to the car and GPS'd my way to the emergency room of St. James Hospital. I now have two stents in my heart and spent several days in the ICU.  I couldn't believe I had to learn how to walk all over again.  I've made a lot of progress since then.  I was released from the hospital on Thanksgiving Day.

Walking is part my physical therapy. So I'm walking into a lot of Montana bar/casinos looking for advantage plays, except now I call it physical therapy.  LOL!.

All good things will eventually come to an end. I went 66 years 6 months without ever going to a doctor  (probably a bad move in hindsight). But then I got to meet some of the most amazing people in the world. Healthcare providers are truly amazing.  I'll never forget them.
