[vpFREE] Earning Harrah's Reward Credits for Table Play

a.. Slot Machines - Earn at least 1 Reward Credit for every $5 you play on a reel slot machine or $10 on a video poker machine. Some machines have lower earn rates and these games will be clearly marked with the different rate.
b.. Table games - Earn Reward Credits based on the type of table game you are playing, your average bet and how long you play.
This is the explanation on Harrah's Website. I have a lot of experience with machine play, but I have none on table play. Is there anyone who has done both and has compared the results. For example, which will allow you to rack up points faster? How do you know – or find out - the rate for various table games, i.e., blackjack and craps? Does it vary depending on the game? Or, the denomination? Or, the casino?

TIA!!!

RE: [vpFREE] A Question about game selection

Is it possible that the multi-game machine might provide a higher ADT loss, because some of the games have lower paybacks than 9/6 JOB and they average all the games on the machine.

Subject: [vpFREE] A Question about game selection

I think my memory must be slipping, but someone asked me this question and suddenly I couldn't think of the answer - in spite of the fact that I think I wrote about this subject once. Can someone help me out here – maybe even refer me to my own answer???

If you wanted to play 25-cent 9/6 poker betting 5 coins each time and there were two machines side-by-side with one a "new" multi-game selection and one older one-machine-one-VP-game" would you have a reason to prefer one machine over the other?

Re: [vpFREE] A Question about game selection

The only factors that I could logically see are..
The newer machine might be faster which I prefer. The newer machine might have a better image quality which I prefer. The newer machine might have buttons that function better which I prefer.
Other than that I can't think of a logical reason to pick one over the other. Regards
A.P.
