Re: [vpFREE] Re: LVRJ: Ruling raises questions about laws concerning advantage gamblers

A big score from a lawsuit after trespassing four times under different aliases? That looks like more of a personal problem than anything else.

Obviously she is too well known to fly under the radar.

[vpFREE] Re: LVRJ: Ruling raises questions about laws concerning advantage gamblers

There is always the chance of a really big score via a lawsuit. What better way for an advantage gambler to show up the casino management.
Obviously she is too well known to fly under the radar.

Just move on--there's plenty of other places to visit and play at. Seems to me a true advantage player would want to keep under the radar as much as possible.

Re: [vpFREE] Bob Dancer's LV Advisor Column - 23 OCT 2012

I'm left wondering how Bob could know what the holds were set at on the machines he played in order to come up with a theoretically positive play, and even if he thought he knew, why he wouldn't think the casino would change those holds for this particular promotion. And with the high amount of a top jackpot win, if hit, such a promotion wouldn't even be needed in order to come out ahead after that amount of play. I don't see the rationale on why this was such a good play.

My favorite line from Mr. Dancer's article:

"Had I hit a $20,000 or $40,000 jackpot I'd be doing fine."

[vpFREE] LVA Question of the Day - 24 OCT 2012

LVA Question of the Day - 24 OCT 2012

Q: I only go to Vegas during the NFR. Have been the last 15
years. Reading your recent QoD about the contract, I was
curious if anyone knows the actual economic value of the
rodeo for Vegas? There are limited seats at the Thomas &
Mack, and it seems most people just stay at casinos and
watch the video feed, although there are black hats all over
the city and the casinos are fun (lots of loud polite
people!)

Read the answer here:
