Re: [vpFREE] Re: First Day of a Trip Report

Drove to Louisville Ky after working all day to stay at the Hampton Inn because flight was leaving at 7:10AM, had to get up at 4:30 (went to sleep around 1AM) to shower, curl hair etc, get to the airport at 6:00 am depart Louisville at about 7:30. It was pouring rain, still dark, windy which equals stressful for me. Arrived Memphis, still pouring rain, turbulence on the flight
In. After boarding flight for LV we were informed to use restrooms before we take off because no one will be allowed out of their seats at least 20 minutes into the flight because of turbulence. More stress. Arrived Vegas in one piece, luggage is soaking wet and someone forgot to turn the heat on as Las Vegas is freezing. Ok picked up rental car and drove to South Point. We were starving. I got one of the 75 cent hot dogs with mustard & kraut. Very good . Hubby got 2 slices of pizza at the little deli by the sports book. I started playing 25 cent SDB by Steak'n Shake. Put $40 in cashed out at. $80. Second machine did the same thing. Third machine lost $20. Fourth machine cashed out at $80. Put a total of $140 in, cashed out $240 so was up a hundred. Went to the other end by the door with all the freezing air rushing in and played SDB again , hit 2 sets of quads then starting losing, switched to DW and hit 4 D's. played a little here & there, left $400 up.
We drove to Silverton as I love their aquarium and I have hit Royals there twice. Well I was pretty lucky today as I hit another Royal playing SDB and several quads. Held 3 to the royal needing the Ace & ten of diamonds. Played the Get any natural quad and get to spin game but it just took $40 and I got nothing. Cashed out at Silverton with a gain of $1300. We went to Flamingo to check in. I was booked in for the Bingo Blitz at The Quad (IP). Tried the $20 trick for an upgrade but was told I would need to speak to a host. I have found the $20 trick only works with guys and I have a feeling CET has taken that discretion away from the folks that check you in. Anyway I did speak to a host and got the upgrade without any cost. Hubby took a nap, I walked down to The Quad to check in for the Bingo. Entered to the right of Harrahs Carnival Court. Also played $5 free slot play and lost quickly. Went back to Flamingo , stopped at a Game King and played more SDB. (Bad pay table) but put a hundred in, played for about 30 minutes, hit another quad, cashed out. $150. Had to get back to the room to change clothes and freshen up for dinner. Hubby had a business friend that was taking us out to Lawry's for dinner. It was so delicious. We all had prime rib. After dinner I was so tired, I had to go back to our room to go to sleep. It was only 9:15. I am getting old, that would never have happened a few years ago or even last year. I just woke up and decided to write this before I go back to sleep . Wish me luck at the Bingo Blitz tomorrow. My session plays at. 11;00AM. More tomorrow night.

[vpFREE] Re: Tuscany Downgrades

Remember, this is the joint that cut off mail for lots of folks a few years
back for not playing on a redemption day (without ever saying play was a
requirement). Never mind that they could simply have used their software
to have required some play prior to redemption. No idea if the rocket
scientist who made that decision is still there, but the mentality obviously is.

That entry in vpFREE2 says that several banks of 9/7 DB were "Added to Database" a month ago. I believe that means those machines have probably been there for awhile but no one bothered to report them to vpFREE2.

Which of course, no one here has remotely suggested. It's easy to build a straw man, blow him down, and then pat yourself on the back for doing so.

It's technically "off-strip", what is going to be the attraction? And I don't think any APs are getting rich off their slot club/promos/bounceback with 8/5 Bonus Poker anyway, so what are they afraid of? No one's going to go there to play 7-5 BP. Stupid move. They'll find out. Maybe.

I guess I missed something. According to the VPF2 Data, Tuscany put in several banks of 9/7 Double Bonus a "month" ago. That's a clever trade-off for the 8/5 Bonus Poker, that is if it doesn't cause them to lose customers (which it probably will).

Same EV, but obviously 9/7 DB makes more for the casino. However, I still don't understand what they are afraid of with 8/5 BP, it's not like they're vulnerable.

[vpFREE] Palpability

I stand corrected on "PALPABLY FALSE" and offer my apology to Mr. Barefoot.
I've never heard it used that way, and it still makes think of medical gropings, but he is right and I am wrong.
