[vpFREE] Re: Westgate LV

 

I have played at Westgate this month after the new card system was put in place. I haven't noticed any changes to paytables. As I posted last week, the new card reader displays are a big improvement over the old ones. But unfortunately the separate comp account has disappeared. The good news is that if we had any comp dollar balances as of 2/28, we can redeem them for free play.

I don't think Westgate is affiliated with any other casinos but Westgate Resorts is a timeshare company with several locations in the US.

How's new card system at Westgate.  I was there when the change over started on 28th. 1/2 machines shut off.  Didn't realize that was reason for shutdown. Any improvements or downgrades?


Is Westgate a loner and not affiliated with any other places?

Just went through a bunch of old info.  Blackjack Secrets , Stanford Wong,1993.   Lenny Frome, Expert Video Poker, AC.  (C) 1989.  As I heard many times in past, "Where the Hell  Did the Time Go?"  I have played VP since late  80s.  Believe it Not, Si Redd first made VP games with black & white tv monitors in game. They were called Draw 80.  They appeared in many local  bars & restaurants in late 80s.

Run across an interesting article on Ken Uston in Atlantic City magazine. Ken pictured on cover. Spent some time leafing through old magazines Casino Journal & Casino Player.  

I was thinking Lenny Frome may have made the keno pay %s.  As I remember it was 1/2 page of info.  
I just can't recall where I got it from.  I don't think Lenny did one?   Geeze, I might have gotten my Keno calculations from Dunbar.  He always has helpful info.

Thanks, jeeps.  No problem.  You don't have to look.  Excel worked just fine for what I wanted.

There is a keno analyzer in Optimum Video Poker. It was included for two
possible purposes; to show your friend just how bad keno return is and
try to move him to video poker, or to determine when a progressive might
make a play attractive.
