I very briefly looked at the BJ tables. At least they are S17. Appeared to be 50% cuts on the 2 deck tables. Sorry, I didn't really look closely at the shoe games this trip.

Tips to keep private email addresses out of the hands of spammers:
1. Avoid giving your or anyone else's email address to any web site.

Slightly longer version: The building itself is supposed to resemble an old style Key West home, I suppose. Anyway, it looks quite different from the outside compared to most casino designs. It is a land based casino (i.e. not built out onto the water like Hard Rock or Beau Rivage). The main casino floor is elevated about 20 feet above ground level, to help limit damage from hurricanes.
The casino itself is small. It was jam packed on Saturday afternoon, as was to be expected for a newly opened casino. Because of the crowds, it was impossible to do a thorough job of checking out the VP inventory, but the machines that were vacant were uniformly awful. Everything I checked was 8/5 Jacks, 20/12/10 Deuces Wild, 8/5 DDB, and similar trashy pay tables. The best games I could find were some 8/6 JOB single line games. Hedy and just returned from a seven-night Caribbean cruise aboard the
amazing RCCL ship the Oasis of the Seas, so we've been out of touch for a while.

I hope everyone did well on the race. It certainly was one of the more

Q: I have been coming to Las Vegas 3-4 times a year for 20
years and avoid the Strip at all costs. I like to stay at
the locals casinos (South Point, Stations, Ellis Island,
etc.) Are there any stats on how many out-of-towners do as I
do?
