Thanks, iguana, for the wizard of odds link. It's a great resource, and it works on my Droid!
[vpFREE] XVP: Poker Tournament Tomorrow Night (in Las Vegas)
I'm hosting a home game at my place tomorrow night. Single table tournament format. $25 total to buy in ($20 + $5 bounty). Re-buys and one add-on available for $10. 100% goes to the prize pool. Anyone on vpFREE is invited, whether you live here or just might be in town for a visit. :)
I'm in the NW corner of town, in Centennial Hills.
Details here:

[vpFREE] Re: double bonus deuces wild
Thanks, Bob. I misspoke in my original post. We're staying at Rio, but playing full-pay at Gold Coast (and Palms).
The DBDW strategy that I'm using (based on my old Frugal VP software) says with a deuce and an ace and nothing better -- e.g. 2 Ah Qs 7c 3d -- to hold the ace and deuce, not the deuce alone. This situation is coming up quite frequently, so my post was to confirm that I'm playing this correctly, or at least close enough for a simple strategy that doesn't consider penalty cards.

Runs on smart phones, right?
.
I didn't know about this. Thank you very much. You can bet we'll discuss it on the radio show. I'll find out about smart phones --- including "if" and "which ones" Bob

[vpFREE] Slight change at the Rivers (Des Plaines IL).
Very minor change at the Rivers (Des Plaines IL).
Four more machines are now $1/$2/$5 single line with 9-6 DDB and IL Deuces
(15-9 pNSUD 98.91%).
These were formerly the four 2c/5c/10c 50 play across from the
Multi-Strikes.

[vpFREE] Re: Foxwoods/Mohegan/mgm
Not exactly true. There's quarter 9-6 JOB and 50 cent BP at Mohegan. High limit 9-6 JOB at Foxwoods and 99.95% Pick Em at Mohegan.
At Foxwoods when my wife drags me there I usually play nickels one nickel at a time, just to get a few drinks.
That should tell you what low level pay schedules at FW are like.
Mohegan is a nicer property all around.
