[vpFREE] Re: Foxwoods NSUD:Can I get a tiny bit of help from someone with VP software?

LOL Yep. Horseshoe Hammond has 40(SF)/10/6 DDB (99.96%) for dollars and higher as well as 15/11 DW44 and 8/5 Super Aces, Council Bluffs has 40/10/6 DDB for dollars, and so does Soaring Eagle and Ojibwa Baraga in Michigan. 47.8(SF&5-K)/10/7 DB (99.79%) exists at Casino Queen in Illinois for $1,$2. Full 10/6 DDB, 10/7 DB, and Deuces (and any game > 100%) are ILLEGAL in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and many other states not named Nevada.

If we follow what he is suggesting, we would have to rename the forum "VPFree2: Off-strip Vegas". I also don't think he considers slot club benefits either.

[vpFREE] Re: Anyone been to RT66 Casino in Albuquerque, NM

I've never seen a full-pay machine there, but I didn't check the highest denomination machines every visit because we don't play them. My notes from 2006 say the best games were 8/5 JOB and 7/5 Bonus in quarters and dollars including multi-line. Since then I think it's gotten worse instead of better.

We stay overnight at RT66 about once a year in the RV. Cool theme, nice place to stop for the night in an RV on the way to Las Vegas. OK restaurants BBQ joint upstairs was good for lunch last year.

Happy travels and good luck in the casinos

Click on the "Comments" tab for any "Nothing Good" casino in vpFREE2 and you will find information on the best bad paytables if anyone has reported that to them.

P.S. I thought I had seen something on vpFREE2.com that explained what games are and are not included, but I can't find it now. That would let people know what to expect out of the site.

I hope that those of you who have posted suggestions here about vpFREE2 will send them to the site owner by using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of their web pages.

I completely agree with this. If I am going to a new casino I like VPFree to list whatever the best game there is....even if it is "bad"
Most often if you are going to a casino you don't know, it is because you are traveling or meeting someone else there. "Nothing good" is no help at all and a waste of time IMHO as then I will wander around looking for something to play. If a 96% game is listed as their best game at least I know where to set my expectations! I know many won't play at this level...but I'm with five300 if I'm there for a few hours I'm probably going to play something......

For as long as I can remember, my experience has been that some restaurants did and some restaurants didn't charge sales tax on a comped meal. Eventually I came to the (possibly erroneous) conclusion that the restaurants that did not charge sales tax were the restaurants that the casino owned. The restaurants that did charge sales tax were the ones that were owned by other people/companies. It was a rule of thumb that seemed to hold true; though, there might have been exceptions that I don't remember.

[vpFREE] Re: LVRJ: Nevada casinos, Tax Commission reach deal on comped meals

Ellis Island was charging tax on meals when I used their
coupon as payment. In fact their policy was (and still may be)
the strangest I have ever encountered.

Their prime rib meal is described as including an EI beer or
root beer. My bill would show that they added the price of
the beer (not the root beer, tho) to the listed price, computed
the tax on that total, then subtracted the price of the beer to
arrive at the total due.

G'luck all,
Gamb00ler

I have a problem with vpfree2 listing 99%+ games but less than 100% as good games. They are not. Any game with under 100%
return is a bad game. Even games like 15-11 deuces, 9-5 double joker, full pay super aces, 16-10 ugly deuces, 9-6 jacks or better
are bad games. I realize they may be the best games avalible but they are still bad games and should not be listed. I would make an
exception if the cash back brings it to over 100%.There are plenty of 10-7 double bonus, 10-6 DDB, full pay deuces etc to list.
I know my suggestion probably will fall on deaf ears with the vpfree2 administrator, I am expressing my opinion only. One last thought,
if over 99% games are still listed do not call games with under 100% return as "good". Leave the "good" title to the over 100% games.

Casinos have already paid 350 million in taxes on comped meals. The State was afraid of a court ruling that the tax is unconstitutional and the 350 million would have to be paid back. They were looking for a way to settle with the casinos by no longer taxing comped meals but not having to pay back the 350 million, which would put them in a budget bind.

[vpFREE] Re: LVRJ: Nevada casinos, Tax Commission reach deal on comped meals

I think some casinos have recently begun paying tax on comped meals and on meals provided for free to casino employees.

I stayed at Bellagio a few weeks ago. Meals were comped but the tax on the meals stayed on our account. Used express comps to pay the tax.
