[vpFREE] XVP Cheaper Rental cars

Nothing to do with Boyd-Costco travel has a rental car section for members for deals with Alamo, National, Budget and Avis.

As a Sapphire member of Boyd gaming, was able to make the reservation through the Boyd web site to reserve a large car for 8 days for $219.91 including all taxes and fees. This rate is about $100 less than any other rate I've seen.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Boulder Station

Stayed there 2 nights , over labor day. None of those gimmick games listed
below have anything close to full pay ( And I love those gimmick games and
know what FP are on them ).
They do have a triple play deuces game there , but cant remember the
schedule but worse than ugly ducks and nowhere near positive. I was playing
a reversable royal progressive with 9/6 triple double with 6000 coin RF prog
( think it was about 99.8 ), so maybe thats what they were talking about ?
Heck, I remember several years back playing the NSUD triple play
progressives side by side with the late and great Skip Hughes. Hit a royal
middle line and asked for my RF jacket. It was refused... a liner note at
the slot club said in fine print...on multiple line machines only the bottom
most line will qualify for the royal . Meanwhile , every sign in the place
said "hit a royal, win a jacket " ! Oh well...but still love the place ...
one of my favorite stations. They are really nice to Chairman club members
there.
best...Tom

That's interesting. Has there been any "loosening" of any progressives?
Would be nice to see some 9-6 JoB progressives.

There used to be a triple play NSU progressive there, I think they took it
out or downgraded it several years ago. I just remember it because I hit a
royal on it over $1200 and I think it was my first W2G ever. I always liked
Boulder Station. Pretty casino, and it seems big too.

I cover some of them in my blog entry - http://jscott.lvablog.com/?p=2298. The "Play, Earn, and Win" Promotion has been on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for a long time now. However, the exact gift list is not published anywhere that I know of. You have to pick it up at the promotion desk (end of the food court) on the day you plan to play. There is a different list on the first and last half of the month, with quite a few offerings for various point requirements.

I recommend Nancy Riley at Paris/Bally's. She is well established and has been receptive to me in the past.

Hi

Does anyone have a recommendation on a good host over at Paris? Someone at Caesars would be ok as well. My long time host has apparently departed and I want to proactively find someone good.

I am a TR Diamond member and typically stay at Paris, particularly now that they are renovating suites.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Try the Wizard of Odds website.

He has an article on "Standard Deviation of n-play Video Poker".

I was wondering if anyone could help me with variance comparisons for multi hand games.

Let's say you have a game in the same denomination like quarters. What is the difference is variance in betting units between 1,3,5 and 10 handed?

I am also wondering about comparing games with the same total dollar in each hand but different numbers of hands. Say 1 hand dollar versus 100 hand penny, 50 hand two cent or ten handed 10 cent.

Is there a general way of figuring these types of things out?
