Good god, Bob buddy. No one, myself included, ever said that the
Fiestas aren't good BY COMPARISON WITH WHAT'S LEFT. A dozen or
so "Optimums" with $40 billion coin-in to earn a comped buffet IS
better than most of what's out there now.

It also is horribly pathetic compared to what Fiesta/Reserve USED to
be like before Stations got their hands on those properties.

I don't really CARE what the VP is like in the rest of the country.
I don't think it's RELEVANT what might happen if Westin Causarina
ran the joint. All I know is, Fiesta (Rancho) and the Reserve used
to have so many terrific plays, it was hard to choose between them.
Comps used to be over 0.5%. There were point multipliers. Bounceback
cash. Great promos. A skilled quarter player could do very well.

Now, the VP is 99% crap, and the slot club is a joke. In fact, the
whole mess is far worse than it was even a couple of years ago. So
what if there's an occasional $500 NSUD play that can earn a theo of
+$30/hour if you risk $35,000,000 coin-in? So what if someone can
grind out $7/hr + no comps on .25 FPDW--assuming you can elbow aside
one of the chainsmoking locals who are there twelve hours a day?

I DON'T want "MORE", Bob...I just want back SOME of what there USED
to be. I'm tired of seeing LESS and LESS. The stinkin' casinos made
beaucoup bucks offering fullpay games and decent slot clubs, even if
a few hundred people DID manage to beat them out of 0.000000000001
percent of their profits. There's no reason, except stupid,
shortsighted greed, for them to tighten everything up to the point
where it squeaks.

[vpFREE] Fiesta New Machines

I don't think I have read a report about the new full pay DDB .05 to $1 machines at Fiesta Henderson. There are 8 or 10 near the sports book. The 100% sign is on the top and it says "Fiesta" on the front of the machines. I forgot to look to see if the red $4 a point was attached.
Cheers!

Thanks for the correction ... that first digit was a 9, not a 3. I
find it hard to read some of the NO numbers on my monitor. Anyway,
the NO table is another useful way to evaluate this play, especially
in terms of alternative games.

There are now two $1 and one $1,$2,$5 MultiStrike slant tops that

differences for each of the 4 levels) in the GVR high limit room. The
Station's 0.1% cash back brings the return to virtually even although
high variance produces a big risk of very large losing streaks.

in their clutches HAS to be an improvement, even if the purchaser is
Osama Bin Laden.

This is certainly not true. Even though you don't like the fact that the
slot club has tightened recently, Fiesta does offer a FPDW and a few
other games that are in excess of 100%. Well over 95% of the casinos in
the country offer no games that loose.

It's not uncommon to always want more, but for low stakes players,
Fiesta still offers strong games. Just imagine it's taken over by the
Westin Casurina folks. When you compare these two casinos, you'll find
that the current Fiesta offering isn't so awful. There are slot floors
in town where the best game is 8/5 Bonus. FPDW, even with no slot club
at all, is a vast improvement over that.

There is only one IGT Triple Deuces pay schedule and that is
4000-3000-100-50-40-20-15-10-10-5 with a return of 99.92% and it's been

Same for us here in Wisconsin. No way around it:(

I've checked quite a bit into this and if anyone knows that I am wrong

[vpFREE] Re: Fiesta - Stations separation

What a shocker that would be. Imagine that you are Fertitta Capital
Partners a.k.a. FCP. You sign a BIG note to take STN private. You do
it. Then the noteholders freak out after the whole system seizes up,
because they cannot flip some of the note.

That would be a darn shame. Here's a challenge to all readers that
even have a MAJOR brokerage account. Call your broker tomorrow
(2/25/08) and inquire about the debt from the HET or STN buyouts.

My guess is no one will report back. Regardless, any accounting
minor can deduce the company is now over-burdened with debt, so
assets have to be sold. Perhaps they (FCP) will even sell their 1/2
interest in GVR.

Re: [vpFREE] Desert Diamond, Tucson

Wait! don't do a thing. Don't learn the game, don't practice the game, just keep playing it! Why jinx yourself? A couple more years and you might be able to retire.....

Congrats on a great run!

zonajefe <jeffvogler@msn.com> wrote:
Hello, I'm new to the forum and thought I'd share some recent
experiences I had on a game I am having trouble finding info on. Last
summer I was in the area of the Desert Diamond Casino south of Tucson,
Az and thought I'd stop in and play some vp. I'm not a real serious
player. I don't play very often and don't go to extra lengths to shop
pay tables. At the local casinos there isn't a whole lot of variety
anyway.

I sat down at a $1 Game King and played DW. After about 30 minutes I
realized the payout for four deuces was $3000.00. My memory was that
four deuces always payed $1000.00 so this surprised me. I believe the
pay table went something like 5/10/10/15/20/60/80/125/3000/4000 with a
max bet.

So naturally within 5 minutes of this realization I hit four deuces.
Within another 30 minutes I hit four deuces again on the machine next
to it. I left the casino a happy man that day.

I just figured that was a fluke but the next time I was in the area I
stopped in again and went straight to the same machines. In this
session I hit four deuces, moved to a second machine and hit a royal,
went to a third machine and hit four deuces again.

Obviously that couldn't continue but in my five visits since I have
hit the four deuces two more times, and one of those times I witnessed
a lady next to me hit the four deuces twice within an hour on the same
machine.

So can someone educate me on these particular vp machines. I've
looked at other casinos and can never find a $3000.00 payout like
these machines have.

You might have some company. FVP came up with 104.312% for these
