After posting the beta version of the utility I'd like to extend an open invitation to anyone that would like to improve it and post their versions on my site if they would like me to. Appropriate credit will be given to the creators and any improvements they make.

I like the idea of adding a, "how you got it" function to the utility.
Then, after the fact you could record if you hit a 4K on a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 card draw.
I believe I will try to incorporate this, if I figure out what to do with the data once it's collected, thanks for the idea.

With the average hit being at every 613, I am about three over the average. With that information in mind, I think the machine (all on one machine) that I have been playing is fairly standard. Some categories above, others below.

One of the first stories I heard about progressives was about a $1
play in 1984 or earlier, before there were credit machines, at the bar
at Harrah's Tahoe when they had 2% meters. Out of 30 machines, 1 team
had something like 18, another team had around 11, and the lone non
pro had the other machine, which frequently broke down, and he hit it
for just over $30,000. The man who told me the story, who ran one of
the teams, said he played the last 48 hours straight and had to be
carried out.

Last weekend I was at MSS and noticed one of the .25 DDB progressive banks (across from the cashier) was over $1,880. Sat down at one machine- there were three seats open, surprisingly- and didn't like the light reflection I was getting, so I moved to the next seat over. Holding the 10, Q K of spades, I drew the A J for a nice $1,886.00 jackpot about 15 hands in. I stood up and said "Sorry everyone, but I just hit the royal!". Before the customer service folks could get there to start the payment process, everyone on the bank had cashed out.
It's nice to have that kind of power- to clear out a bunch of people- without it being caused by a bodily function!
Thought I took a picture, but can't find it, so I thought I would brag a little instead.

Several of the new features in OpVP were inspired by Frank, and I would
love to include this in the next release. Unfortunately, although Frank
is an excellent programmer in Excel, for some strange reason he has
convinced himself that he can't code in a programming language. We would
all gain so much if he would just get past this mental block.
Note: Before someone criticizes me for writing this, you should know
that I've said this to Frank several times.
