[vpFREE] Offer from Main Street

Main Street is offering 5x points for VP in February, valid Monday-Thursday. Small print does mention select machines are not valid. I'm guessing the invalid machines include the slant tops near the valet entrance with full pay DB? Is that correct? How about the JOB at the Boar's Head Bar?
Thanks for any feedback.

[vpFREE] Seven Stars 2016 Benefits Rules & Regulations

New "rules" have been posted online (
http://www.totalrewards.com/sevenstars/rules-2016), but they are extremely
confusing due to the change in the program year from April 1 to March 31 to
February 1 to January 31. I'm trying to get clarification on some of the
issues and conflicting information I've discovered. (Plus, it's riddled
with typos. . .no surprise here!)

One major change to the program is "hidden" within these rules:

For those who don't want to take the Annual Retreat, they can have 50,000
Reward Credits ($500) deposited into their accounts. I guess it's better
than nothing if you weren't planning to take the trip anyway, but,
considering the "retail value" of the retreat ($1,200 in airfare, the $500
folio credit, the limo and the four-night stay), this will save Caesars
quite a bit of money (and time booking reservations) if a lot of folks use
this alternative.

updates.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Boyd YAH Wed bonus - 30x VP DOES exist...

Did they know who you really were? Would they have punished John Smith for the same crimes?

As I recall, one of my royals there was dealt and two others were 1-card draws, such as a suited AKQJ with an off-suit 5. These are usually 1-in-47 events on average. For me it was probably 2 successes out of 5 tries, so I hit 3 royals in probably 10,000 hands. (being over-royaled has certain benefits --- and certain costs. being under-royaled sucks. Play enough and there will be times you experience both ends of this. I've never figured out how to predict when the next royal is coming.) $8,000 jackpots get them excited over at Suncoast.

I'm a stubborn guy. I'm going to go for the royal every time. My "mistake" was hitting three "big" jackpots essentially back-to-back-to-back."

With max-non-royal-hands strategy you would draw to AKQJs only if you didn't have a pat flush, straight, or high pair. 3 royals in 10,000 hands is pretty lucky, but it will still happen, even in max-non-royal-hands strategy, just less often. It's unfortunate, and short sighted, that casinos have chosen to punish gamblers who get royals, but the casinos make the rules, the players can only react to the rules.

In smaller print, it says "complete rules posted at THE CLUB booth." I agree with your point that free play and points (redeemable for cash or free play) is a more attractive option than breakfast buffets.

My mailer and the poster in the casino indicate that one will "win one of the following prizes:"; the lowest prize listed is $10 free play. On a positive note, I appreciate getting free play or points awarded instead of free breakfast buffets. Being able to spin right at the machine rather than the sometimes buggy kiosks is good.
Results my spouse and I got were a total of $90 in points and free play for our 8000 pts each.
