Thanks guys for the help. I hadn't even thought of Montblue comps. That is a great idea! Mmendoza, about how much did you play at Montblue to earn the free rooms? That is a generous offer from them for only playing 25c vp!

On another note, I received the rudest personal e-mail after posting this for help. I will spare the person's name, but I can't believe someone would respond this rudely. I will paste it here so others can be equally astonished!

Amazing how a stranger would rather chastise than offer help. Anyway, thanks to those who responded positively and helpfully. I'll take any more suggestions as well.

I just used 2 free nights from Harvey's am a 25 cent video poker player and
some 5 dollar

craps...what helps is having a total rewards credit card. Monday is there

senior day..think its earn 100 points..get a free buffet.

But at the same time I got 2 free nights from Mont Blu right next door.

comped my resort fees, got two free buffets and 4o dollars of chips

and 30 dollars credit for food..they are by far the most generous casino
there..

and they have 25 cent 9/6 JOB

Wednesdays are the bonus point days, IIRC. Also, I'd say $10k in a day will earn midweek...$25k per day ought to earn weekend.

I'm taking a four day trip to Tahoe from Vegas, and I was curious if any of the members here could help me with what level of play is generally required to earn future room offers. I generally play 25c vp, although I'm considering playing higher this trip to earn Diamond status in a day or two.

Also, does Harrah's Tahoe have bonus point days?

You can avoid receiving 5 twenties by cashing out at $20 more than the even
hundred. One 20 is better than 5 of them. Still annoying.

Yes- I find it annoying when the change machine breaks the last $100 down to small bills. If I want small bills, I can put that $100 back in for it.

Yes, IT is annoying, but it's only a machine that has been programmed to do that. It probably saves a little time at cashiers' windows with people asking to have a Benjie changed into five Andy's.
What is REALLY annoying is when they are paying you out handpays, and the last hundred turns into 5 twenties, suggesting very strongly that at least one of them should go into the pocket of the slot attendant who kept you waiting for 15-20 minutes to get paid.
What is REALLY, REALLY annoying is the slot attendant who brings you the five twenties after you specifically requested "all large, please".
Of course, THAT slot attendant really saves you money because then the tip you give them is, "The customer is always right"
