[vpFREE] Re: Is Imperial Palace still there? Old car museum still around? (antique)

The Imperial Palace became the Linq Hotel & Casino a few years ago. Their antique car museum has closed. An internet search shows some other ones in Las Vegas with the Hollywood Car Museum being the most prevalent.

[vpFREE] Hey Mr. Fiesta Jack

Hi Jack, it's only me, Mr. backburner ( I have more of them than any
stove ever made). I had all intentions of sending you a note back at the
time, but along with this station casino crap going on my sister was in
the process of dying, and Lorrie and I were flying back and forth across
the country. She did pass in late May, so needless to say, my already
mentally damaged brain did not get better for quite some time. Now that
I have extra free time and have doubled up with a Thunderbird email
account because Cox Cable has lost their mind, I am cleaning up old
stuff that I had neglected to do.

Anyway, the result of my N.G.C.B. complaint was exactly what I
expected, and what I stated in my original post, which is that they
ruled against me. Now my record with this Law Enforcement Agency (:-D)
is one win and two losses. Like I also said in the post, this agency is
mostly firmly in the casinos pocket, as the gamblin' joints are still
the valley's bread and butter.

I did eventually make a positive deal with the Santa Fe, due to my
questionable ability to negotiate, or maybe not?? If you are interested
in knowing what I did, I will tell you in another note. I am curious to
know if you have tried to enter any of the monthly drawings held at any
of the stations owned casinos, or are you forbidden to earn any tickets?
Also, something really st000pid (with THREE ZEROS), have you played on a
My Generation (formerly senior) Wednesday, and have tried to get a free
tall coffee from a Starbucks or Denny's on said property? This benefit
is till listed on their website, but we cannot get it. Hhmmm... Seems
insane to me that the geniuses in suits at the RRR empire (stations
parent company), are cancelling a deal to all us senior folks over what
I guess would cost less than a quarter of a dollar. I realize that a
large number of us oldsters might take advantage of the benefit, but the
C.E.O of RRR, Mister Frank Fertitta the 3rd, or 8th, or whatever number
he is, allegedly spent one quarter of *$100 MILLION*, or *$25 MILLION*
on his daughter Kelli's wedding. Entertainment was Bruno Mars, Seal, and
DJ Marshmello. Of course, the fabulous Fertitta's have what I estimate
is roughly a 12,000% profit from the sale of the UFC. Go figure.

It's hard for me to believe the recent stock price numbers from the
two local mega beast gambling operations, Boyd and Red Rock Resorts. Not
to get political on you but, the corporate tax cuts from 35% down to
21%, a 40% savings have been in effect for almost two years, and both of
these genius owned companies are getting whacked. At the beginning of
Jan. 2018, RRR traded at ~ $34, and as of today ~ $21, approaching a 40%
loss. BYD started 2018 ~$34, and now at $27. Our video poker gravy train
has definitely been derailed, and even though we get limited rain, it is
firmly stuck in the mud.

Since I am now off the good list at Boyd, Stations, Tuscany, Hard
Rock, and Ellis Island, my play is limited. The medical folks tell me
that I have "severe spinal stenosis", which they expect a hillbilly like
me to know what that means. The TV reporters should love to say it, as
it is completely alliterative, which is thrilling for all of them.
Anyway, feel free to shoot me a note anytime. If you actually use your
phone for calls, unlike the gen x,z, or millennials, my cell is
702-250-1696. Just for fun, I am attaching a note I typed out and
brought with me on the day I met with the N.G.C.B "enforcement"
:'(:'(:'( agent.

                                                           Rudy
