Last month I wanted to take a picture at the slot machine at Mirage and the slot attendant walked to me and asked to put my phone away.

Most casinos now don't care if you take pics of slot machine jackpots or video poker wins. I think they recognize that people posting jackpots on social media is actually good for business.

But if you pull out a cell phone to take pictures near the gaming tables or cashier cage you will be swiftly reprimanded.
