[vpFREE] 100 play at Ceasars

As I recall, last year there used to be a 100 play vp machine at Caesars Palace in Vegas in the high limit area.

Does anyone know what JOB is available on this machine. I'm assuming it does not have 9/6 on it, but may have 9/5.
Also, what denomination is it, I'm assuming it is $1.
Is anyone familiar with this machine?

Thanks, Tim

[vpFREE] Changes at the Majestic Star 2 - Gary IN

For now, this looks like good news!

Eight 25c/50c/$1 single line games have been added each with twelve different full-pay or near full pay games at all denoms.
One weird thing is that these games have both 8-5 bonus and 8-5 ACE$ (The latter is the same game with four ordered aces paying 4000.) and 9-6 DDB and 9-6 DDB+ (Here the latter game pays 400 for quad fives through kings if the kicker is an ace.) I am not sure if the 18-7 Joker kings+ pay 4000 or 4700 for the royal. If anybody from the group gets there before Wednesday, could you please let me know.

Also downstairs are two All-Star II games that have 25c STP 10-6-5 DB. No other good games of any kind on those machines. I believe there will (are) more of these machines going into the main room (Possibly where the two Ultimate X machines were.) I will check again on Wednesday.

As a non-smoker it is good to know I can play something without choking on cigarette smoke!

The database has been updated.

[vpFREE] Re: XVP -- rental cars

The MasterCard paid ALL damages.  Brother-in-law considered himself lucky to only have to pay me the $250.  I learned a valuable lesson from this experience.  Even though I did not make the reservation.  Even though I was never a driver of the vehicle;  because I used my credit card, I was the responsible person.  I just assumed that brother-in-law had auto insurance that covered rental cars, who doesn't?  Well he didn't so I was the one on the hook to solve the problem.  Took three months of phone calls and letter writing but eventually I was off the hook.  Never again!

[vpFREE] Re: XVP -- rental cars

Fifteen years ago I rented a vehicle for my brother-in-law who didn't have a credit card at the time of rental.  He proceeded to wreck the vehicle.  MY credit card was charged just over $4,000.  MasterCard settled the claim and paid all but $250 which was the loss of use.  The rental car agency wouldn't give them proof of loss of use so they refused to pay.  The credit card company charged me for that part of the bill.  And yes, the rental agency charged something like $65 a day loss of use for a compact car.

[vpFREE] Re: XVP -- rental cars

Does the statement below mean that the rental car company can't go to the person who rented to get their loss-of-use payment, even if AX won't pay without fleet utilization?  Seems like the contract that you must sign to walk out the door with a car is all in the favor of the rental company (surprise).

I would hardly consider AX to be "big insurance" (big money I'd agree) but maybe they're big enough to bully (sometimes appropriately) the rental companies -- but I use AX a lot too, and I'm encountering more and more companies that just don't take AX, mostly because it is much more expensive (I'm told) for the merchant -- but not wanting to be pushed around by the credit card company would be another reason for a merchant not to accept them.

AX is very clear-NO fleet utilization report no payment. Maybe  big insurance with deep pockets put car rental companies in their place?
