[vpFREE] OpVP Beta Testers Wanted

 

To all my customers and friends:

Optimum Video Poker (OpVP) 4.0 is ready for beta testing. It has several bug fixes and some significant improvements over previous versions. Here are a few of those:

* Added a Player Preference to use black and white chart highlights for color blind users
* Redesigned the Strategy Generator, speeding it up significantly
* Improved the strategy generation, evaluation and checking for Deuces Wild games
* Added a function to adjust a generated chart to create a better basic strategy
* Fixed several problems with deuce-interference Straight Flush draws in DW
* Fixed several problems with inserting new DW chart entries, especially RF and low SF types
* Improved optional penalty selection and application
* Improved entry of "one card of certain rank" in Strategy Editor's New Entry
* Fixed error indication when the second best possible hold is not in the chart
* Fixed Optimize Chart to correctly adjust the DHF and Mean EV when combining entries
* Fixed error in calculation of penalty points when checking player's hold
* Fixed a bug in selecting a different strategy for a Deuces Wild game
* Fixed a bug in counting hands played perfectly in the Player History
* Expanded the User Manual, now 70 pages, includes more on creating strategies

To qualify, you must be a user of any previous version of OpVP or any other video poker analysis program.

If you are interested in testing this new version pre-release, send me an email telling me:
* Something that will convince me that you are serious about testing this new version.
* What video poker program(s) you currently use or have used.
* What operating system you are running, which must be one of the following:
      Any Windows system 2000 or later, including Windows 10 (but not Windows ME), or
      Any Macintosh running OS X 10.4 or later, including Sierra (but not Mountain Lion 10.8)
* Your preferred email address (gmail will not work).

A beta test version for your OS will be sent as an email attachment. To qualify for a free upgrade to OpVP 4.0 when it's released, you must send a meaningful review within two weeks of receiving the test version.

I will select the best ten replies to receive the test version. I already have a couple Windows 10 users. I also need testers on older Windows systems and various Mac systems.

Discount codes?  Where can we get them?   I believe AAA  gives some discount codes.  Don't belong and wonder if worth joining to get rental discount. 

I think I have seen some credit card promo discount programs, but not sure if memory is right.

[vpFREE] Rental car discount codes & promos.

 

Hi everyone....


Every time I rent a a car or book a flight I cringe when asked for promo code. (unless I have a code)   Last time I booked air tickets, I found note of promo code,   from months before.   Before confirming  posted cost,  I went back and inserted the old promo code and scored  $50 off for each of 2 tickets.  


As always, I believe promo $$ for anything, are best if the promo money  goes in my pocket.  AAA motor club will get discounts for Hertz and Dollar.  Just asked AAA.  I wonder if any casino cards might help with discounts.  I am old enough to remember LVH used to reimburse cost of airline travel if presented ticket tp them with cost.  I always book air on my own.  Can travel discount sites save us on rental cars? 


Any ideas for saving on air & car rent??

1. Everyone should read and be familiar with the vpFREE
FAQ before posting messages on vpFREE Forums.

2. Every message's subject line should accurately identify
the content of the message, to facilitate faster navigation
by interested or uninterested members.

3. If you reply to a message and change the subject matter,
either start a new thread (preferable) with a new subject
line or rename the subject line to reflect its new focus.

4. When replying to messages, quote just enough of the
previous post to maintain continuity. Delete the rest of
the previous post.

5. When replying to messages, clearly differentiate the
previous message(s) from your comments, so that it will be
easy to identify who wrote what.

6. Never post lengthy copyrighted material verbatim without
permission. This includes posts from non-vpFREE internet
forums. Instead, post a link to the material and/or a
summary. Short, credited excerpts may be quoted.

7. Don't use any vpFREE member's real name, even their
first name, on any vpFREE forum unless they themselves use
their real name there.

8. As a spam prevention measure, no one can upload to the
Files Directory on the vpFREE home page unless they get
temporary upload access from the Administrator.

9. Casino personnel probably monitor vpFREE Groups so posts

The vpFREE Video Poker Group is a free internet forum for
the discussion and exchange of information about video poker
and video poker related topics. vpFREE is dedicated to
