[vpFREE] Re: Tax diary on my phone?

Hi simpson......
Is  app  free?   A real time saver I'd guess. Don't have yet.   I am also thinking about one of those apps that track mileage etc business expenses.   Also need something like Win Poker type game for my  iPhone . I don't know if there is such a thing.   Still using Win Poker on a Win XP machine. A  Windows Vista still running too.

Don't want to lose your phone if you have lot info. But, using iCloud will preserve info forever.  Also, "find my phone" on apple.  I just lost my iPhone  from  the roof of me car. It was 7 miles from my home when fell off. Didn't know where it fell off, when I discovered i lost it.  Asked  AT&T  if they could help. I didn't have icloud password, AT&T "Can't help".

Went home, called Apple. They walked me through Find My Phone. I gave them permission to enter my MacBook. They pointed to the clicks I had to  do.  Soon I see  her red pointer on map on interstate shaking.  "There's your phone, thats flashing,  next to highway." she said.    I said "WOW.  THANKS."  "Is there anything else I can help you with?", she said.     "No, that's great!", I said.         In my experience,
It's always a pleasure dealing  with Apple Support..

Took my MacBook down road right to my phone.   It was about 3 feet off the pavement.  Jumped out of car & scooped it up.. I have a good case and phone is perfect.  I consider this experience a $600 + bonus from Apple.

Thought I'd share the iPhone story.  It impressed me .

For those who celebrate, Happy Easter.  For those who don't have a great happy weekend!
Best to all of us.    Jeep

Hook, the machines are not just in bars and restaurants in Illinois.  They are also in gas station/convenience stores....and truck stops.  And I pulled off the interstate at Princeton, Illinois to see a sign on a business called "Suzie's Video Poker and Slots."  I went in to investigate.  There were five machines, four of them being played, and a slot attendent reading a book.  The slots were the only business in the building.   This building  was certainly not modern and probably had only about 800 square feet.  I googled up this "Suzie" and found out it was a chain outfit.

Another thing I noticed about these "five machine casinos" whether they were in a bar, restaurant or gas station was they placed no extra burden on the employee's. Every location had a ticket redemption kiosk next to the machines.  When one cashes out they just insert the ticket in the kiosk, grab their money, and hit the road.
And also in clubs, halls or lodges.  Max $2 bet and max $500 win.  All gambling transactions handled by machine.  No risk or extra labor for the bar or any other operating business.  No brainer business decision.  An almost free 200K per year for some dive bars.

[vpFREE] MGM Parking

As many of you know, MGM now charges for parking and just raised the rate.  I just received this offer in email this morning.  It says with this credit card I can self-park for free on any MGM property.  It also says I will be automatically updated to Pearl Status, get priority check-in, and buffet line passes.  I don't have any need for it but some of you might be interested.
