Lyft and Uber are really cheap in LV....there are SO many drivers that there's not much of a surge pricing that impacts other cities.

I tend towards Uber and find that my trips cost from $5-9.  (Generally from Caesars/PH to Luxor, or similar locations)  Even at multiple trips in a day, it's a cheap and easy option.  All of the major hotels have pickup locations that are convenient and well marked.

The only downside is trying to take it from the airport.  Not a huge pain, but you need to go to level 2M, which usually has one slow and overcrowded elevator.  There are stairs up also, which is fine for the light packers like me.  Those with a lot of luggage may have to wait a bit for the elevator.  And they are NOT allowed to drop off at Level Zero, which is the express path to the gates.

[vpFREE] Re: Palms noodle bar

 

I am a big fan of Thai noodles so this may be an improvement in my view.  Unfortunately the Thai noodles that I have had outside of Thailand have been very disappointing.  IMHO, Chinese noodles have very few ingredients whereas Thai noodles usually have many more and require more skill in balancing the flavors.

Green Valley Ranch coffee shop has what they claim to be a Thai noodle dish on the menu.  It bore no hint of a Thai style or flavor.  I guess they consider the word "Thai" to be a good marketing ploy.
