My problem is always low pressure. The light comes on at about 28 PSI. They obviously don't do much of a check when received!

Even then, I don't think you could get a 20 psi increase in air pressure. PV = nRT and all, but that's a lot of P for the amount of T.

[vpFREE] Some NOLA notes

Hi Gang:
Hedy and I are in New Orleans, spending a few days at Harrah's. We definitely needed a little R and R after the serious medical issues I faced the first three weeks of March.
All is good with me now, however, and we are enjoying our time in the Big Easy. Here are a few notes about some things going on down here:
1) Harrah's has eliminated those annoying three-digit codes previously needed to download free play at your machine. Now, you can simply punch in your passcode and the available free play in your bank comes right up. Then, you can download it onto your machine.
2) Hedy and I were excited to find out Harrah's was offering a mystery multiplier every Tuesday and Wednesday in March until we saw this little notice: "video poker excluded." This was a real downer since we put over 5,000 base credits on Hedy's card both days.
3) if you wish, you can book your Seven Stars Signature Event to NOLA now. It will run from June 11-14 and includes a dinner cruise on the Natchez, another food event at Manning's, a parade on real Mardi Gras floats and a brunch the last morning. We've attended these kind of events at various Harrah's venues all over the country and nobody does it better than NOLA in our opinion.
4) In less than 30 days, the smoking ban will go into effect at Harrah's casino and all bars in the city. Harrah's is fighting it, hoping to get an exemption, but the suits we spoke with today believe it will go through with no exemptions.
On the gambling front, Hedy and I were spinning our wheels playing dollar, triple play NSUD for two days but today we got dealt aces with a kicker on triple-play quarter, DDB Dream Card for $1,500. It's addicting and extremely volatile but we love that game!
Regards,
CoachVee & Hedy

Richard,

This wasn't the spare that was overinflated. All 4 tires on a car with 83 miles on it were inflated to 52 pounds, when nominal for that car is 32. The only thing that comes to mind is in the car was built and stored at a very low temperature and the tires were inflated while it was still very cold. Even then, I don't think you could get a 20 psi increase in air pressure. PV = nRT and all, but that's a lot of P for the amount of T.

This also tells me that Budget did not do a typical safety check before the vehicle was sent out. I may have been the first user, but that is even more reason the time pressure should have been accurate.
