[vpFREE] Scot Krause's LVA Players Club Bonus Points Update - 10 MAY 2012
[vpFREE] LVRJ: MGM Mirage analyst pleads guilty in $860,000 slot scheme
NO ONE STOLE from anyone here. The story says they just used UNCLAIMED free play that no one was going to get anyway. Have you ever let freeplay expire? That is the money that was "stolen." No one hacked an account to get anyones free play, or points.
If you could donate your unclaimed free play to charity would you? This analyst just became that charity, LOL

Trusted slot club employees working for several of the properties would get the pin numbers of players cards and steal their points. Nothing as elaborate as the Mirage scheme. Always keep abreast of knowing your point balance. Now that Harrahs redeems points for freeplay at all properties you must remain diligent. All it takes is your card and and an employee who doesn't ask for ID.

RE: [vpFREE] Re: Gambling with an Edge Suggestion
Mickey wrote: Bob, a suggestion for a future show. How about Arnold Snyder discussing his book The Poker Tournament Formula. This book gives Arnold's take on how to beat the low buy-in, fast structured, daily poker tournaments in Las Vegas. There are at least dozens of these tournaments everyday in Vegas.
5 or six years ago I took a look at these low buy-in tournaments as a way to propel oneself into the higher buy-in events. The problem I seen was the 18% to 25% juice it cost to play. That's a lot of juice to overcome. I'm wondering what kind of success Arnold and other's had with it.
Thanx for the suggestion, Mick. This is a case of great minds thinking alike. We've already contacted Snyder and he will be on the show June 21. I'm about 80% of the way through his first book and am so inspired by it that I will probably spend one of my Tuesday blogs discussing it. I've noted your question about overcoming juice --- and will ask Arnold about it. Should any of you have other questions to ask any of our guests, make your suggestions at gamblingwithanedge@gmail.com . Bob

[vpFREE] LVA Question of the Day - 10 MAY 2012
LVA Question of the Day - 10 MAY 2012
Q: I just returned from another great trip to Las Vegas.
While there I took some pictures of the famous "Welcome to
Las Vegas" sign and noticed that behind the "WELCOME"
letters there appears to be 1946 Roosevelt dimes. Can you
explain what they mean?
