The problem is they're not 86ing "advantage players", they're 86ing anyone who gets lucky and hits a lot of W2G's or even one W2G (jackpot over $1199). Some of those players probably are "advantage players" but most are just lucky, most experienced "advantage players" know how to avoid heat.

But, most casinos are ignoring coin in these days, which is a disadvantage for high rollers and an advantage for low rollers, especially penny players. Most casinos are also using W2G's to determine when to 86 someone, which also disadvantages high rollers and advantages quarter players and lower.

I'm told they removed 25 cent 100 play , even 7/5 bonus poker was too risky, now 10 cent 100 play is the highest you can play. The business plan must have changed to a grind joint. That's ok , I guess we wont be missing much. Take care.

good morning, ++ Well at least they've smartened up and are finally taking out the games they don't want people playing rather than still trying to identify and 86 everyone with an IQ higher than their shoe size. ++ CORRECTION, you meant to say, they don't want people playing who sign more than once a month !! what a business.

Similarly I wish South Point had taken out the machines they didn't want me playing or modified the promotions they thought were too lucrative rather than taking away my slot club membership for life. As was evidenced by the Valley View situation, when a game or promotion can be beat by one player, it can be beat by multiple players and will eventually have to be corrected. Why don't casinos fix the problem initially rather than taking it out punitively on the first winning players?

I have always had the desire to help other players as much as possible. I am not desperate for money. I don't "out" good plays when there are limited opportunities, but giving a little help with understanding complicated promotion details is something that seems to be appreciated by many players and I am glad to share my experience. Although there is a competitive element present, I prefer a friendly environment with other players in a casino as opposed to a dog-eat-dog negative experience.

Bob wrote: "If casinos made sure every player knew about every promotion (never mind this is very difficult to do), the average value of each promotion will drop for each player because casinos will drop their promotions so that they still give away $xxx"

Can't argue with you there, but I doubt we have much to worry about, seems like it's in the casino's nature to obfuscate as much as possible.
