[vpFREE] Re: Reading the fine print, Casino Royale

This is news to me ... we did my celebration dinner a couple of years ago at NOLA and were quite pleased when they issued a comp for the full $500 (this was about a year after the partner comp ratio went to 2:1).

More recently, friends of ours used their celebration dinner in NOLA for a partner restaurant in September and it was my grasp that they received the full $500 credit.

[vpFREE] $1 progressive atThe D

The machines have been moved upstairs to the second floor. They are still intact, same as when they were downstairs...4 8/5 BP and 4 9/7 DB.

I was worried they would be removed, given their age. Guess it goes well with the Sigma Derby.

[vpFREE] New Coast free play policy?

The new combined mailers for Sun Coast, Gold Coast, Orleans and Sam's
Town arrived today. The offers are also on the B Connected website.
The free play offers are now in a new section on the Offers page called
"Play your way to Vegas". When I clicked on a free play offer to read
the details, this is what I saw:
DISCLAIMER:Present your coupon that you received in the mail along with
your B Connected card and valid photo ID at the B Connected Club to
receive the Slot Dollars. If you do not have a PIN number, you will need
to establish one. You must wager all downloaded Slot Dollars prior to
cashing out. Offer may not be used with any other offer, promotion,
convention or special event. This offer is non-transferable and may be
redeemed once. Must be 21 years of age. Management reserves all rights.
Don't let the game get out of hand. For assistance, call 1-800-522-4700.
I'm hoping this is not going to be the actual procedure because it is so
much less convenient and may cause long lines during the busy evening
hours.

I haven't collected my celebration dinner for this year yet, so thanks for the warning. But it's really not much of a shock - Harrah's NOLA seems to re-write the rules for which resturants you can or can't use the celebration dinner every single year.

Re: [vpFREE] Starting hands that result in RF

I don't have your answer but I did see this statistic somewhere. However I can't remember where. I do remember tho the highest frequency of royals comes from 3 to a royal due to the much higher occurance of that dealt hand. Second was 4 to a royal then 2RF then 1RF.

[vpFREE] Starting hands that result in RF

I looked around for a while, but can't seem to find this posted anywhere.

I'm familiar with the math for the likelihood of getting a RF holding 4 cards (1 in 47), 3 cards (1 in 1081), etc. And I am familiar with the RF cycle representing the overall frequency.

What proportion of RF results come from the various starting positions?

Example: For 9/6 JoB, what proportion of RF results come from holding RF4, RF3, RF2, RF1, etc?

Do 62% of Royals come from being dealt four to a royal? 21% come from being dealt 3 to a royal? etc?

Thanks in advance. Doubly so if there is a really obvious link I should have found before. :)

We were in New Orleans in October and they would only give the $500 "celebration" dinner for in casino restaurants on a 1 to 1 - other parter restaurants were 2 for 1 - a $250 vaucher was givien for partner restaurants.

Every time I have gotten the annual dinner I just get a printed voucher for $500 made out to one of the "partner resturants" (this is in NOLA), and I use it to pay the bill. The number of people never seems to matter. I haven't tried to feed 30 people, but I've had plenty of 7* annual dinners with 5 or 6.

I've never had this problem.

UPDATE TO THE ABOVE POST: I stopped by M'ville this past weekend to redeem a small amount of free play, and noticed that they had changed every one of the brass stickers on their VP machines to say something like "Free play cannot be redeemed on this machine".

I wasn't seeing things when I wrote the original post. Perhaps someone at the casino actually reads this message board. Or more likely they just noticed that no one was playing their VP machines.
