Absurd.
Another lesson for others on why not to let points, CB or anything else accumulate to large amounts.

RE: [vpFREE] Re: vpFree2 database HRH
Sorry for the confusion.
James Thompson
PS I was at the Rockstar club on Friday night for the free-play drawing. What was interesting is I saw some old vp regulars there and they won. I'm guessing they were probably playing vp on a multigame machine that also had slots on it. Any ideas, or anyone who was there do it. ( Points only counted for slot play only)

Yes, I've seen it very lately. It's on a Multi-Strike machine, as it's listed in vpFREE2.

Like you said, they really don't know what they're doing and from past personal experience and like with Tom, you will always get what you are owed. The place is a sad shell of the enjoyable casino it used to be with competent owners. But work fast.

The MO of the old Montelago was to "no mail" big players and in some cases tell them they were excluded from promotions. Although they may have occurred, I did not hear of any 86'ing under the old management.

Re: [vpFREE] Trespass at Casino Montelago
I thought their best game was 8/5 bonus poker. What kind of promotion ( ?
double royals ? ) would make this an attractive play ?
thanks...Tom

I've gotten cash back after being 86ed both by having a check mailed
to me, which took a little persistence, since the first person I
talked to at the casino said that when players are 86ed, they delete
their accounts, and by going back and getting paid in cash, which,
since security agreed to my coming back, wasn't a problem. I'm quite
sure neither casino wanted to pay me, so I'm confident there's an
effective law that forces them to pay.
[vpFREE] Re: Trespass at Casino Montelago
Well when you put the hurt on such a small operation things like this are expected. With such a a large cash balance Im assuming you were playing quite a bit on the good promotions and hurting their bottom line. The place is on par with a mom and pop local bar. The old Montelago welcomed big play unlike this fancy Dottys type joint.

[vpFREE] Trespass at Casino Montelago
I went into Casino Montelago this morning to collect a mailed free play offer and got an invalid card message on the card reader. On my way to the escalators to get a different card out of my car, I was stopped by security and told the Casino Manager said I was no longer allowed to play there. They then read me the trespass act. I asked if I could collect my cash back balance of over $2,500 before leaving and they said negative. I asked if I could stay for 10 minutes until the slot club opened to get my money since I would never be allowed back. They said if I stayed any longer, the only thing I would get is arrested. When I asked how I was supposed to get my money they smiled and said I could come back for it when they were there, which made no sense since they had just said I would be arrested next time I set foot on the property. (Or maybe that is how unethical they are and shows what they want.)
I called Gaming Control when I got home. They said to call the Slot Club Manager Monday to try to work out an arrangement for collecting the money, and they would assist if that attempt was unsuccessful. The agent confirmed that I should only accept the money by mail or off the casino property so as not to be in violation of the trespass.
As Rob Singer reported earlier, the management there is clueless. They don't understand the return on their games or the value of their promotions. Instead of trying to figure out what they did wrong and correct it, they have apparently decided to kick out some of the very few player they have. (And they are too stupid to do that properly either.) There are usually more employees then players in the casino at any given time so I doubt they will be open much longer anyway.
Re: [vpFREE] Re: A little help please
With all the saturation advertising Stations is doing around southern Nevada on TV this month, they'd better be liberal in their comes right now.

Did they comp you a room?
A free room offer at GVR for $5K action on a more than fair bet paytable is sweet.
