I contacted Carnival because like you we have a history of play and cruising with Carnival.
We do have a VIFP number and when I enter it -- offers -- based on our play -- are displayed.
We have many offers for months out -- but nothing as good as you/Miss Craps notes in your posting
below. So I called Carnival -- the offers that you/Miss Craps recvd are based on your play (as are my
offers). Since I know that you play at a larger demon than I/we do -- you very enticing offer is not
available to me. I would encourage others that are interested here to go on line--you can start
at carnival.com/offers. If you have a repeat guest number (or like Miss Craps said--a VIFP number)
you should be able to establish a sign-in with that. I might also mention that Carnival isn't noted
for being a top-rated cruise line. I would suggest that service is similar to NCL. My daughter
and son-in-law just cruised them in Alaska and my daughter complained about slow service -- at times.
(And she's not one to complain about much!) But hey--a good deal is a good deal! Just wanted to
add what I know and found out about Carnival's offers and casino rates. Hope this helps.
Jean H
PS-- Playing up to 1500 points in the casino gives you free drinks in the casino while playing.

Subject: [vpFREE] Carnival special deal, more info
I was able to book an obscured view oceanview handicapped cabin (almost an interior but there is a window) 8 day Southern Caribbean on Carnival Horizon for Feb9 2019. Departs from Miami.. Room 10202 with a couch (all the way forward and I do mean forward!), handicapped. BASICALLY FREE.
This was special offer (see below) $100 pp but they give you back $100 pp cabin credit, plus I believe $200 casino free play! And you pay port tax of $127 pp and gratuities.
Even though it has been 12 years since I was on Carnival (!!) , apparently I still had a casino player ID so was eligible for this offer (see below). There are also reduced rates for past cruisers who did not gamble. Their past cruiser club is now VIFP club.
They didn't have many handicapped cabins (special deal is interior or oceanview). There was a nice spa cabin on 11 deck but it was under the fitness room which I figured would be noisy, but I checked the deck plans and found a few on deck 10 which should be ok (cabin above).
If you previously sailed on Carnival and gambled it is possible you might qualify. Here is more info for VIFP CLUB offer
You can go to the carnival.com website and look up your name and birthday to see if you have a membership number and are eligible.
Sign up for cruise by June 28 2018, get Inside or Oceanview on SELECT CRUISES and sail until 12/31/2020. Looks like it is good up to two cruises (read the fine print). Pay $100 per person, up to two people, get $200 cabin credit back. Plus pay tax and gratuities. Lots of itineraries available, but deposit of $200 is non refundable.

When you go to the website not all cabins are shown. A personal consultant may be able to find other cabins like ocean views that do not show up on the website. For handicapped I spoke to Michael at 18007647419 ext 70025 who was able to find additional oceanview cabins handicapped that were eligible for the promo.
So total for 2 of us for 8 day cruise is around $450 plus gratuities but we get at least $200 cabin credit back and possibly another $200 free play. Free drinks in casino are probably not included, it depends on if you previously gambled enough to get them free. You can gamble on board and if you get 1500 points then you get a free booze card.
They had another offer for better cabins with higher prices but a larger amount of cash back too [I guess about half price or more]...I was looking for the free one. All sorts of itineraries were available, west coast, caribbean, etc, with different dates. But importantly, this $100 get 100 must be booked before June 28.
