OK I'll just tell everybody. Please understand how big a deal this is. Not too many people know this. I'm giving you a big fish here.

#3 = The accounting department has to key the machine while you are sitting there playing it. ALL the info is readily displayed.

Usually, casinos key their machines once a month, or once a week for accounting purposes. It is almost always late at night and early in the month. You'll see then walking around with a clipboard and security guard escort. They'll walk up and say, "Could you stand back from your machine for just 1 second", it is a more like 5.

On an important bank we camped out on the 1st day of the month, just after midnight. It took around the clock, 1 penny action for three days, before a very pretty accountant came by, keyed it, and revealed all the mysteries of the universe to us.

Obviously, this method requires shifts and a team to accomplish, and is very time consuming. BUT IT IS 100% ACCURATE AND LEGAL. It also helps if you can take a mental picture of the entire screen in under 4 seconds. I assume I'm not the only one that can do that. I've done it 3 times without issue. There is roughly a full page of text to read almost instantly. You are looking for the stat: RATED RETURN =

Speed reading lessons help.

Actual Return, coin-in, and coin-out can be ignored if you know the rated return. It will be in different spots on different brands.

Oh, if I hadn't said so already, you would only do this for a progressive bank with at least 1% meter-rise, that you suspected of being playable. There would be no point on a non-progressive.

Also, it probably isn't possible in casinos with real-time links from accounting to slots. Some do have it, but it's pricey software, probably only in the high-rent joints.

Now remember to keep this a secret:) Boy I am an optimist huh?

P.S. If you use this and get some returns, feel free to share with the guy that gave you the method.

against casinos.

Sorry I can't copy it. They get upset when you post their articles.
It's about a lawsuit filed by a patron at the Hard Rcok. Security guards entered
his room at 4am over an alleged domestic disturbance. They had the wrong room
according to the defendant as he was alone. He was arrested for tresspassing by
Metro and evicted from the room.

The second part of the article was more interesting. If you have been on the
Strip lately you have seen people dressed as Superman, Transformers and other
characters asking for donations to be photographed with them or just taking a
picture. To my understanding that is not allowed. Most casinos don't do anything
about them as they have same rights as porn slappers. The Venetian tries to
claim that the sidewalk in fron to their casino is private property. A friend of
mine who knows an ACLU lawyer says on the contrary their sidewalk is not private
property. The Venetian unlike any other casino in town has been able to keep
porn slappers and anybody else trying to do business off their sidewalk. . . . .

[vpFREE] Re: Best Randomness Analogy Contest

Mickey,

This is a truly outstanding suggestion for new players and the open minded to experience randomness with a simple test that is under their own control. Unfortunately many people are not able to put their irrational beliefs to a test or even acknowledge any evidence that disagrees with their beliefs. The hard part for many is your advice, "Be honest with yourself."

You notice you go thru spurts where you seem to be hitting the pay hands at about the frequency it calls for. But then you also go through periods where the deck is colder than a well diggers ankle in Idaho, you can't seem to hit a pay hand. You also experience spurts where the deck is hotter than a pistol, you seem to hit a pay on almost every hand. Hot Streak, cold streak, medium streak, cold streak, medium streak, cold streak, hot streat, medium streak, hot streak, etc.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Someone just told me the Palms DW is history

For busy convention weeks, Palms will remove those machines to make more
room on the floor near the entrance doors. This is definitely a very busy
weekend for the Palms, which is hosting AVN events, so very likely the
removal is temporary.

Last time I was there in October, there was a guy playing two machines twice as fast as I could play one.
I sure hope this is a rumor. IÕm headed out there in two weeks and would be lost without being able to play at the Palms.
I guess IÕd have to search the database and find another Casino. They are getting fewer and fewer.
