I won $200 on one of their surveys last year. It was a pleasant surprise.

[vpFREE] Harrahs contests?
First, has anyone ever won $ for doing one of those Harrah's surveys? I have done a lot of them, and of course nothing.
Also there was a big drawing this weekend at the Flamingo with 50 winners, including $100,000 first place and two $60000 second, a lot of big money for a drawing. Did anyone win, or know a winner, and if so, how many base points had you earned?
I ran up 11,0000 plus points for the event, big play for me, and of course did nothing but lose money and didn't win, just not lucky in drawings. The original mailer said 500 entries, but they doubled total prize money to $500,000, which makes me wonder if there were really way more than 1000 people entered.
(recently did two Palms drawings for a Jetta with 1600 entries in one, 1200 in another....no winnings....and met winners who had 5 entries....argh.... Which makes me wonder, is it worth nothing for a drawing? At least I won money at DDB at the Palms, plus some dumb gifties, if only to lose same money at Harrahs)
By the way Rio and Harrahs Vegas have removed my favorite $5 slots, bonus types like King of Cash, Pinball, Burger whatever it was called with Cheese -- only to put in poor payers such as Sphinx, new 30 coin Top Dollars that suck your money badly, etc. And seems like their VP payables for $5 are getting even worse, like 7/5 bonus, 9/5 DDB, etc.

I need a picture of a dealt royal. Must be NSUD and 25c denom. You could email me direct or let me know if you have one on the picture files and where it is located. I could not find any when I looked.

Re: [vpFREE] cosmo
Yes I really liked the Chandelier Bar (3 stories) I liked the look of the place. The third floor has restaurants and a little hidden pizza place that was very good. In the open areas on the 3rd floor were sitting areas with a pool table, very colorful. I also like that the rooms have balconies. They also had an information booth on the first floor with some very nice people. I used it twice. I did not gamble there so I don't know what their offerings were. My husband and I enjoyed our visit.

The 9/6 JoB and 8/5 BP have also been downgraded on these 25c 10 plays. And in the high limit room, the 9/6 BPDlx and 9/6 JoB on the Spinpokers have been downgraded.

Re: [vpFREE] cosmo
When I was at Cosmopolitan in January, I really liked it. In fact even though I get free rooms from HET, I decided I am staying at Cosmo my next trip even if I have to pay.

Is Sam's a better play as a local or a non-local? From the sound of your
reply, it seems that this is what you'd get as a non-local. Any thoughts on
this?

*some good stuff i forgot to mention:*
*
*
*i emailed cosmo customer service originally, describing my play, and asked
if a comped room would be possible. i heard back very quickly from a slot
host, melissa ongaco, who seems to be great, if you want a host. responsive,
friendly, helpful, charming. Melissa.Ongaco@cosmopolitanlasvegas.com . she
did comp a room for me, and also offered transportation to and from airport.
*
*
*
*when i stopped in to cosmo just for a look, i went to the 'rewards' desk to
pick up my cards that melissa had arranged for me. when they learned i was
7*, they gave me platinum cards, the highest designation in their brochure
(i don't know if there's an unlisted higher one), good for a year.*
*
*
*so, if you're planning a visit, be sure to take advantage of all this and
whatever else you might dig up (and let us know, please)!*
