When I first moved to Vegas 18 years ago I used to play a lot of 3 and 5 play $1 Vp and even some $5 slots. After years and years of losing and some not great stock market picks [GE to mention one], I finally lowered my play to the point where I don't do much anymore. Today was a big day for me, sad to say, but at least it was a winner!

Went to Palms with my husband to turn in coupons from their special Bond promo for 2 free AYCE buffets (each) we want to use when friends come into town, but found the coupons (when issued by the slot club) are only good for 3 days, and I need them in 5. So will have to come back in a few days to redeem (or redeem on day of dinner). Picked up "secret code" for game to get extra entries in a drawing.

Went across street to Gold Coast. Due to new rules, getting 10 or 20 TIER credits on VP now takes forever, and we wanted the "free" big bottles of vodka. So instead played Mighty Cash reels betting between about 56 cents up to a few at $1.55 per spin. Put in 120$ when machine started hitting, cashed out $120 ahead when hubby got his 10 tier credits (about $50 in play) and I got my 20 tier (100$ through). The bonus rounds were really long, with 46 free games on one of them, so we were there for quite a while, long enough for hubby to get a free drink (but they wouldn't give him single malt scotch). Got two bottles of vodka.

Walked over to Rio because for unknown reasons with hardly any play in last 6 months (though we are still Diamond due to some bonus tier credits from last year and early play in 2018....we used to be 7 star, sad)....we started getting the Locals Privileges magazine again in July (after not getting it for previous 6 months). Go figure, though our play is lessening with a lot of 0 play days when we pick up free play, the amounts have gone up slightly. We did 60$ total free play on 8/5 JB quarter progressive single line, and cashed out $51. Used $70 in food vouchers from Privileges plus $8 accrued comp credit and got dinner at Ale restaurant. Took home half a bottle of wine and bit of leftovers.

Total win $175 plus 2 vodkas and half bottle of wine and meal. Out for about 4 hrs.
