I thought I read a post on Harrah's group that lead me to believe this but I may have misunderstood.  Has Mr Seven Stars written on this subject?  I'd like to know more about February 1st slot club changes.

shocked me to see most, if not all of their VP  machines are old, like 10+ years old.

on their 8/5 bp machines, it doesn't tell you how many points you've earned for that sitting.
the primitive display on that machine is useless.
you have to goto a kiosk to find out your points.

Sadly this article is only true through January 31. If I understand correctly on February 1st comp rate for video poker players is halved and the bonus redemption rate for the top three tiers is being eliminated at all CZR properties. Someone please correct me if I'm not accurate on these details.

[vpFREE] Loss of Diamond Aspiration Levels

 

Early in 2017, I played quite a bit at CZR properties in order to secure over 80,000 Tier Credits.  That gave me more time to use/schedule my Diamond Aspirations Level 2 trip before it expired on 2-1-18.  My CZR play then slowed down considerably for the remainder of the year with my only remaining goal being to get 150K TCs by 12-31-17.


In 2018, I don't see any incentive to achieve any number of TCs for any reason, other than earning 150,000 TCs by 12-31-18.


My question:  Are there any real benefits to hitting a certain number of TCs prior to 12-31-18 (other than the $100 Diamond Celebration Dinner which still appears to be a benefit)?
