That's not true--why say something like that? I was there, and security was much more visible than normal, plus they helped get everyone out to safety. There was also an extended presence of Metro throughout town. These things happen under any circumstances, but to say Harrah's security ran for cover is simply wrong.

RE: [vpFREE] Re: XVP - Norwegian Jewel Cruise
I was on a NCL cruise in March and they imposed a service charge of about 5% in the casino on charges to your room account.
This may be new because on previous cruises there was no service charge.

Aside from the varied selection of daily specials, each dining room had standard offerings that included rib-eye steak, salmon and several others. The food was well-prepared, beautifully presented and hot when it was supposed to be. The salads were nice and cold, so they've really made an effort here.

Bob Dancer mentioned this in one of the GwaE podcasts. I forget the
specifics but it sounded like at least one cruise line was taking steps to
eliminate this bonus loophole and it's being treated as a cash advance
instead.

Another thing to know is you can charge up to $2K a day in the casino to your room for no fee. Pay the final bill with a cash back credit card, free money.

[vpFREE] Silverton Mailers
Several years ago I quit playing at Silverton because they changed my mailer requiring me to go there eight times a month to get my bounce back. Before that I only had to go there four times per month. I'm thinking about playing there again and was wondering how many times do you have to go to Silverton to pick up all the monthly bounce back. tnx

[vpFREE] LVA Question of the Day - 28 SEP 2011
LVA Question of the Day - 28 SEP 2011
Q: I remember there was a stand-alone restaurant/nightclub
on the Strip called 'Seven'. It usually looked empty and
there was a tacky gift shop attached which detracted from
the ultra-cool vibe they seemed to be going after. Where
was it and what was built in its place?
