Subject: [vpFREE] Sam's Town LV and your points
I can think of a many more reasons to skip Sam's Town than a very. very minor glitch in their software.

This problem is most definitely NOT a software glitch. Do you realize how many thousands of lazy ass players will choose the easy method and download points directly to their machine? I am sure that even the current DUH manglement at Sam's knows that this represents a large number. Up until a few months ago, any points that you downloaded DID produce points when you played them through. Also at Sam's Town, if you had won cash in a drawing, you were offered the opportunity to take your winnings in the form of free slot play and they would give you an extra 10% for taking it in that manner. You would also make points on that play as well, but not anymore. Now that I think of it, the timing might coincide with Boyd's first quarter wool pull for this year. For those of you who are not familiar with this term, equity investors refer to it as the quarterly conference call. I listened online to this wool pulling session myself, back on April 26th. It was like and hour and 20 minutes of my life that I will never get back. I will note that during the corporate back patting the CEO, Keith Smith, in mentioning the Aliante and Cannery purchases, did state that both of these would be made with "cash on hand". Perhaps he should have somewhat modified that and also revealed that the purchases "will be assisted by whatever additional screwing of our valued customers that we can get away with". I have an older sister in NY that I help with what to do with her required IRA withdrawals and other interest income. She took my recommendation back in 2012, to buy a few thousand shares of BYD, at the time, priced at ~ $6.25. Stock closed on Brexit Friday at $18.26. I am recommending that at $19.50, she sell and take the money to the bank. Don't know the future, but this company, with short term forecast of real estate value increases, looks to me as if the establishment of a REIT, similar to what MGM did, is in their future. I do know that my Sam's Town play will not be much in that future, if they continue to run the place aground.
