Lol...how long ago if you don't mind me asking...as I've been playing at JAN for 4 years now, and I've seen some odd stuff on their card reader displays also..

[vpFREE] Re: Harrahs Kansas City
Ameristar has a new promotion going with MGM. Play at Ameristar and you get offers for MGM properties in Las Vegas so Harrahs really has nothing to offer over Ameristar.

Harrah's doesn't seem to care very much about the condition of its properties.

[vpFREE] Cannery loss rebate
I couldn't find if this was even still going on for April, but for an
out-of-towner, this is nearly worthless. The boothling said that the loss
rebate would be free play, as expected, but that it would be mailed in two
days, and only good for 14 days. I chose the generous $5 in free play
instead.
The only thing I found in the fine print was that the free play would be
mailed, which is fine. But I would expect somewhere more than two weeks to
be able to redeem it.

[vpFREE] Re: Redeeming Reward Points at a Harrah's property
Atlantic City kiosks will let you print a voucher for FP up $1000 a day which you take to cashier to redeem for FP. No new points or old points, all points. 2-1 every day, every property.

[vpFREE] Cafe Central Las Vegas Caesars
We also had a weird experience at this replacement for the Augustus Cafe. It was just 5:15 p.m., midweek, and the place was pretty much empty. But when we went to eat, we were told we could bot be seated for at least 20 minutes. Showing my 7 star card did no good either (there was no waiting line by the way). We asked if we could just sit at an empty table until they were ready for us, and showed my cane, but no, we could only wait at the bar on high stools. So we left. It all seemed extremely odd.
[vpFREE] Boomtown New Orleans
I did not see Boomtown New Orleans (actually in Harvey, LA) listed on VPFree2. Is anyone here familiar with it? I've played blackjack there in the past, but have never scouted for VP.

Interesting trip report. But where do they stand on going "Class 3"? I know I've read something about that possibility somewhere, though I don't know where or what I read. Are they considering it? Does that need legislative approval?
[vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer's LV Advisor Column - 3 APR 2012
Negative points. I've seen that before. A fun thing to do is to go to the club booth with your checkbook and ask to write them a check to cover the negative points so that you can keep playing. As they say, usually the expression you get is priceless. For even more fun demand to see their supervisor to get the situation straightened out. Also get your host involved.

I appreciate you posting that chart/formula!
Now I know pretty good what I need if I just want to play 25c, or 50c, or even $!

Yep, size your bet to your current bankroll divided by two divided by the Kelly number, or the next lower valid bet size.

So, for example, if your current bankroll is $4,000 , half is $2,000 , divided by the Kelly of 723 is $2.77, so that would likely be a 50c five coin bet of $2.50 but it could be a 25c 11 coin bet if that bet is available. Dividing your bankroll by two is the conservative Kelly system.

[vpFREE] Aqueduct Racino Trip Report
Hi gang:
Hedy and I had heard some good things about the spanking new Resorts World
Casino at Aqueduct recently so last week we decided to see what all the
hoopla was all about. It was an interesting adventure, to say the least. We
even got an unexpected visit from a genie, although he certainly didn't make
any of our wishes come true!

I know Bob didn't post this...but I think it's funny...-7 points..."Bitch, you owe US!" LOL
FWIW, I take pictures of all my jackpots, for personal collection...but I only post ones that are interesting (dealt royal, sequential royal, big multipliers on STP or UltimateX, etc)

I too would like a first-hand report from someone who has redeemed their OLD
points, not just new ones. Wonder if there is a daily limit – some of us
may have thousands of dollars to redeem.
