I was just there at Caesar's two weeks ago on a promotion that gave me $850.00 free play and chances in a Free Play draw that was worth $250,000.00 also with a bunch of prize trips to LV or ACY. Never did win a thing on the draw but did hit here and there on machines and came out slightly ahead.Couldn't use the free play on any VP machines but I had a blast playing Lord Of The Rings, got a bunch of bonuses and ended up in the black from my free play sessions.
I stayed in the Augustus Tower overlooking Bellagio which was very nice. I also breakfasted at Cafe Central and found it weird that it was very dark at 6am when I went (I couldn't read my newspaper) and then gradually at 6.30am they start increasing the lighting. The food wasn't that great (had an overcooked oily omelette) and the prices annoyingly high even for TR points. The service was okay, but no more than that. Had a sushi dinner at Hyakumi which was frankly awful, and would avoid completely in future. Had a very nice dinner at Rao's with great service and fun atmosphere.
Diamond Lounge was impossible to get into on the Saturday and Sunday without a twenty to thirty minute line-up at the door each time I tried, which I was not willing to do. Finally got in on the monday with no problem. Left tuesday to return home. Had a great time.
