Also are you aware that if a valet damages your car, the casino can not be held responsible (that is on the ticket) and most insurance companies will not pay because the rental agreement specifies whom can operate the vehicle and in the agreements I have looked at do not include valet.

They caught the guy Thursday. Mugged another women at Red Rock Casino and police pulled him over at Rampart for failing to use his turn signal. Just saw the report on the 11pm news.

I find that some people like to overtip (because they are rich or morons, most likely the second) and then like regular people to follow suit. You can tip whatever excessive amount you want but don't tell me what to do. Thank you very much!

[vpFREE] silverton Casino comments
Hi. The Silverton Casino group has been chosen to oversee the management of
A casino being built here in Maine.
I am familiar with many of the casinos in Las Vegas , but I have never been
inside of the Silverton.
I would like to see a few general comments about the Las Vegas Silverton.
How friendly are they, how's the Video poker, food, and other
accommodations? We only have one casino in Maine and the V.P. Is
deplorable at best. (6/5 J. or B. is the best they have). I am hoping that
the Silverton group will put in something that is at least comparable, to
The Eastside Cannery, or Arizona Charlie's on Boulder Hwy.
In order for a casino to get started in Maine, the whole doggone state
has to O.K. it in a referendum. There is a good sized minority here that is
sure that Gambling is an evil, morally corrupting influence on both
youngsters and senior citizens alike. I am hoping if we get a decent casino
the opposition will shut up once and for all. Most folks from this wooded
part of the world wouldn't be caught dead in a 'Bellagio" or a "Green Valley
and They view with a great deep dark suspicion anything south of Fenway
Park or west of Vermont. Methinks that a "Cannery East" or an "AZ. Charlies
type casino would have a good chance of eventually being accepted by some of
the " CASINO NO"! Crowd. Comments please.
Thanks, RMcK

Your memory is correct. The $1 BSP at the Palms is 16/14 not 16/15.

you are spot on here. For a realistic picture of car jockeys, watch the
movie "Ferris Buelers day off "
best ...Tom
PS - I beat all you guys by giving Valets $6 - but it has to come with the
names of 10 discount strippers

I had herd about that over 31 years ago that the valet were making then at MGM Grand now Bally's close to $70.000 but I believe then it took JUICE (Uncle,Cousin Neighbor,Friend whose family member worked as a Suit, etc.) nice pay for a young man out of High School or going to College... About 6-7 years ago, a coworker said her brother (HS grad) worked as a
valet at the Venetian. She said he was making around $70,000/year.
I don't ever use the valet parking.... Too cheap and don't trust them
with my Corvette!

[vpFREE] Re: Tipping the Valet
Every time I tip larger than average when I drop off and request they keep the car up front they seem to do it regardless of having a computer or not. Many casinos will deliver a car faster if you have a top tier card such as Harrahs. To each their own but Im not waiting in long lines to get my car. I learned the hard way over the last 20+ years of going to Vegas casinos. Hey if they're happy with $2 from you at the casino you go to than more power to you but it doesn't work at many places on the strip. At most local casinos I self park anyway, going to the strip is usually only reserved for special restaurants or shows.

Re: [vpFREE] Treasure Island casino in Minnesota
All casinos in Minnesota are Indian and under the Minnesota Indian Gaming Compact VP can only pay up to (98%). Treasure Island, Red Wing, MN has many VP games. All are multi game/demon. At $1 and up they have DB 9/6/5 (97.8%) DDB 9/5/4 (97.87%) JOB 8/5 (97.3%). Slot club points depend upon tier level and = .02 up to 1.0% cash value. Also comps and free play. I am at the top Diamond level and receive 5x points or 1.0% and $120 weekly free play plus comps, ect.

I have second hand information that this Indian casino has a lot of video poker machines. There is nothing on VPfree. Thanks for any information.

A reality check prompts me to comment on a key limitation under which Kelly betting considerations have limited application to my optimal play choices ...
I can see Kelly coming into play were I looking at an "all you can eat" positive buffet; in other words, where my opportunity for an edge isn't limited.
However, it's generally the case that I am playing under constraints that restrict the amount of play that's appealing. The most frequent constraint is that I'm playing a negative expectation machine, where fixed promotional cash makes the play viable.
In such cases, there's a cap on the desirable total coin-in, and Kelly considerations go out the window. Instead, I'm left looking at options to play through that coin-in in a manner that best optimizes my goals re total play time and bankroll risk exposure.
I'll wistfully contemplate that someone has access to a 100-play FPDW machine (or otherwise has an opportunity with no bound on the positive ER) and can put this discussion into practice.

Huh? They don't know how much you are going to tip until they bring the car!
Lots of places like Atlantis in Reno and Foxwoods now have computerized systems so you're car gets there just as soon as mine-regardless of tip.
I've always been treated politely with my 2 buck tips. I think they get pissed off more by those who just stiff them, which I have never done.
Hey, to each their own, but you'll see me ordering black coffee or a Shirley Temple (and believe me-that AIN'T happening) before they get more than a deuce from me.
