Your updates will be appreciated. The video poker database at
vpFREE2.com depends on the people using the site to let them know if
something should be changed. Just click on the "Send Us an Update" tab
on the casino's pages there and let them know what to change.

David, thanks for sharing your story. That was a tricky paytable change. It would be nice if they would pay you the amount you didn't get for the royal, but it's probably not going to happen.

That reminds me of something that was posted here a long time ago. When you sit down to play video poker -

First - Check the paytable.
Second - Insert players card and check beginning balance.
Third - Play one hand and see if the correct points have been earned.
Fourth - Play good and have fun.

RE: [vpFREE] Phoenix Arizona Casinos

Fort McDowell Casino in Arizona has had 99.73% NSUDs (16,10) for many years. I believe the machines were listed in the VPFree casino database at one time but the listing was removed for some reason. But the machines have always been there in various quantities and floor locations. Today there are 4 left. The next time I go there I'll pinpoint the locations as they have been split up a bit and placed among slot machine banks.

Yes, it was from 12/6 - 12/15. Link to the gift catalog was still available on their website as of this morning:

Maybe. The casinos make a lot of money from NFR. Without that money they will need to cut back other places. It's not at all guaranteed that losing that source of income automatically means they will start throwing money in our direction.

Generally speaking, when casinos are making money, they have bigger budgets to offer promotions with. When they are losing money (witness the recent recession) they tend to tighten up everywhere.

The fortunes of the casinos and the players are correlated more than you might think. There are players who think it is "us" (i.e. players) against "them" (i.e. casinos.) This is a very shortsighted view. Wishing bad things to happen to a group that you depend upon for your livelihood doesn't make sense to me.
