I agree that to keep out 25% is worthwhile.  I would also like to see masks required for reducing my exposure, but it also cuts out my smoking.

I think even keeping 25% of COVID people out is worthwhile. And if you keep out some others who are also sick, what is wrong with that?

Maybe it's the best they can do that is manageable instead of smoke and mirrors. And it's always great to read a post that starts with an insult.

Hey, guys. Before you criticize, try learning. Temperature checks for customers will only detect 25% of those actively spreading covid-19. That is, for every 4 people actively spreading, they'll keep only one out and lots and f people with dental, sinus and other infections. For employees it only works if you chart temps per employee looking for the delta. China just uses them because they already had them installed for sars and Mers where it was an effective detector. So there is no new cost to them.

What you're seeing is just smoke and mirrors by the casinos, that they can charge you for with downgrades and reduced comps. And, south point is doing temperature monitoring with their security cameras—and it doesn't create choke points which can the real danger.

Hey before you insult why don't you read the post?  Good thing you know so much about what temp checks will do.  I was only stating my experience at South Point, Rampart and Red Rock and could care less about the info you posted.

Re: [vpFREE] Charlie's Decatur

At Caesars Palace, the only strip casino I've visited since the reopening, they don't take temperatures on customers entering the casino.  They only require temperature checks when going to the hotel rooms.  Perhaps Charlie's if using that method?
