You know, I'll start speculations, since I'm heading down in three weeks.

1) they start the new plan September 1st. Anecdotal speculation because sams town is running Thursday multipliers every week BUT the 30th.

2) they crank up qualification levels, and/or bring the Onyx card to Nevada. Emerald level requires 125k on slots (I know, but I'm thinking of a friend who spent couple of days there, and is in range) my friend also noted a lot of emerald players...time to bring some distinction to high rollers.

Since Boyd is my home property, I'm concerned...got an invite too, but will miss the festivities. I will also be waiting with baited breath to see the changes (I'd say the "changes" won't be VP positive). Will be down the next week though, hopefully taking advantage of presumed Labor Day multiplier.
