Re: [vpFREE] Re: VegasInc: Station Casinos revamps Boarding Pass perks to entice gamblers

Went to one of their info sessions tonight. The free gift was a lame
T-shirt with a tacky advert on the backside. At least the dessert
things were semi-tasty.

You need to go to the Reward Centre and request that your Fiesta (&
Wildfire, if applicable) accounts be merged into your Boarding Pass
account. This didn't happen automatically.

You can also choose which account number you wish to keep.

I do feel the 1000 points per comp $ is a downgrade, but I guess they
feel like the 3x points makes up for the 400 extra points per
dollar. It does make the 3x rate a bit deceptive, though.

8.1 million points? Let me know if you ever care to donate them to
me. LOL!! BTW, there is also a $1000/day limit on cash back
redemption, and they said only points earned after February (?) 2008
are eligible to be redeemed for cash back.

Looks like three casinos and one slot parlor with the state rake at 25%.

The casino licenses were estimated at >$500 million each 5 years ago but almost nothing nowadays. The way things go around here it will be 2020 b4 they open their doors. Much needed competition to the only two casinos in all of New England (Foxwoods and Mohegan in Ct).

Positive vp takes $4 coin-in to earn three points. All other video poker is $1 coin-in to earn three points.

The complete rules are now available online: http://www.stationcasinos.com/pdf/allnewbp_rules.pdf

I played NSUD on the "Up to 99.8%" machines today. I got 3 points for ever $1 coin-in.

If you log in to mystation.com and click on "Status", there is a chart showing the benefits for each card. For example, Gold Card is 25% off the buffet.

to entice gamblers

I was a gold card with 5 mil points. I used to get a 25% discount for buffet
and 600 pts for $1 in food. I found out that it is now 1000 pts for $1 in
food and there is no longer a 25% discount for gold. You need to be platinum
to get 25% discount. Gold used to be 500 base points. Now it is 40,000 base
points.

you get 3x points at all times, but your level is based on tier points, and
tier points are 1 pt per $1 coin in. The brochure makes no mention of
positive EV games having different tier point requirements.

so with 600 pts the old way, triple points now, that is like 1800 point but
it takes 1000 pts for food now, so it is really like a 1.8x point rate
instead of 3x.

My old points were converted to the new levels, so my 5 mil pts are now 8.1
mil. so at least they did now lower their value.

Unsure how my fiesta points will be combined. as of today they were not on
my stations card. did not goto fiest to check to see how my point balace was
adusted.
