The infamous Scrambled Strategy Test is now posted on my site in the Mar 31st section: https://www.progressivevp.com/radio_show.php
Normally this test was given at the end of a week of teaching trainees how to look up holds on a strategy card...but before they had learned any particular strategy for any game.
We required a 90% correct to pass it.
Bob did not want me using his strategy nomenclature for the test, so it's posted in Team Nomenclature. If you are unfamiliar with the team's system the test will be doubly difficult. I included a legend.
It is a great way to know how good you are at using strategy cards and very on topic for vpFREE.
Good Luck and enjoy:)

I was at the Fremont recently. I know which machines had 10/6 DDB but they have now all been downgraded to 9/6 DDB. Will report to vpFREE2.
[vpFREE] Re: general manager's club
What should be noted is that in the mailers for Biloxi/NOLA there's no mention of a separate GM Club Room. (Both locations already have Diamond lounges.) The implication of GM Club eligibility is strictly limited to inclusion in additional promotions.

I am 7* over 400,000 and I also got something regarding the GM Club

This is to help fill that gap.

[vpFREE] Extensive walking Project City Center
Walking even from the Bellagio or Cosmo to get yo the Aria is quite extensive. I would recommend anyone with walking problems think of renting a scooter. This can be arranged in advance with drop off and pickup at your hotel.

I do know that some people are playing these type games for fun and profit. My buddy Al plays them. As long as it's the type of game I'm thinking of. Don mentioned that the bottom meter maxes at $50. Does it max at $50 and sit there until it gets hit or does it go by $50? That's the question.
The first thing I'm gonna determine is if it's lucky coin bonus system where you don't have to hit a pay, just bet a specific coin number to get the jackpot. If it's not lucky coin them I'm not gonna mes with it. If it IS lucky coin then this is what I'm gonna do:
1. Clock the meter. Is it a quarter percent meter, half percent, one percent?
2. We'll go with half percent for an example. If it's gonna be a play then the amount of money in the meter has to be greater that what I figure my average cost is to spin it off. On these type of plays I figure to get dropped for 20%.
3. Say the meter is on $48. How much action would it take, with a half percent meter, to drive it all the way to $50. $1 is half perent of $200. So it would take $400 in action. Then I'm going to divide that number in half because the lucky coin will be random between $48 and $50. $200 X 20% = $40.
The amount in the meter is greater than my figured cost so I'm going to take the play. If I were in downtown Vegas or Laughlin and they had lots of these type machines I would definitely be making laps around checking and trying to run as much volume as possible. That is, if I figure it's worth my time.
[vpFREE] Re: general manager's club
I had a conversation with my host about it. She said that the company was trying to do something for their "high Diamond" players, so they are setting this up. [vpFREE] Re: general manager's club
From the mailers Bev and I received, this isn't a "club room" benefit ... instead, it's an added. select set of events (such as those identified in your email).
The mailer I received for Harrah's-NOLA has a monthly 5x RCM (vs. Biloxi's limited-time 1-time 10x RCM), and adds kicker benefits for achieving 20K and 40K base RC's within a quarter (10x RCM day and 20x RCM day respectively, plus Besh Chef Table experiences).

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Benjamin Rejection
Some machines just seem to be pickier than others. I heard a story
somewhere that there is something about 2006 series bills that causes
some acceptors not to take them. Since then, if I have a machine that
takes a lot of bills, but mysteriously rejects a crisp one, it seems
like it's almost always a 2006 one. But I'm not obsessively keeping
records on this sort of thing :-) so it could be selective memory;
draw your own conclusions...
