From some recent posts re poor treatment of players, I'll reiterate that
you need to get established at 2 or more casinos in each locality if you plan
to visit frequently. You also need to make each casino aware that you have
other options. I've heard too many times from fellow players that they
keep all their play at one place in order to maintain a high status. That's
akin to putting all your eggs in one basket & you know what happens if
something causes that basket to drop.
I learned my lesson the hard way when I had all my play at one casino &
then everything changed due to new personnel & all the relationships had to
restart from zero. Even though you still have all your comps & offers, the
new people bring changes which are often not favorable. So if you have a
situation where you're bringing people expecting a certain level of service, it
may turn out to be a disaster. This was my situation 10 yrs ago in Reno.
It won't happen again.
PS regarding writing mgmt & lobbying for lost benefits, it may work.
Personally, I find a higher ROI by moving on to a new casino. If the old one
truly values your patronage, they will let you know especially when they're
hurting.
