For visiting Crystals retail center, park at Mandarin valet.
I visited the day after City Center opened when only Vdara, Mandarin &
Crystals were open. City Center is so large & the signage was so poor (at that
time) that I couldn't find the parking for Crystals so I pulled into the
Mandarin Oriental hotel to ask for directions & the valet suggested that I
park there since it was close & just a short walk over a pedestrian bridge.
It was easy to drive in & out & the valet didn't expect a tip since I was
going to Crystals but I tipped anyway. Regarding the shops in Crystals, if I
had bought anything, I would have had to upgrade my whole life to match
but I went there because the retail mall is a work of art in itself. Going
there just to look at the staircases & planter boxes is a good enough reason.
Everywhere you look is a functional piece that you won't see anywhere
else! I didn't budget much time so I didn't take many pictures which is my
greatest regret since it was at a time when you had the whole place to yourself.

Leaving next Sun. w/ wife & Ma. She gets around pretty good, but I want to
keep walking down as much as possible. Staying downtown, but haven't
visited CC yet & plan to spend better part of a day there. Can I park in 1 spot
& get to Aria & Cosmo w/o extensive walking?.. Will mom's newly aquired
handicap parking permit any do us any good? Is it better to enter from strip
or some other trick way to get in? Any other trick moves anyone can suggest
to make our visit to CC beneficial. I figure that day won't be heavily
involved in VP like usual...just trying to get a look around & flavor of the
place.
