Re: [vpFREE] Re: Stations - New Slot Club Calculations

>So do I have this straight: The new calculation: $1 coin-in = 1 point but there are always 3x points so it is the same value as the old $1 coin-in = 3 points calculation. Still .3% slot club benefit. However, it would take you 3 times as long to reach a higher tier level because tier level (status credits) calculations are based on base points and don't include multipliers. And it will be a negative for any benefits or promotions that are based on base points.

I was just told that "base points" includes the 3x.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Stations - New Slot Club Calculations

Tier score for video poker has been $1=1 point for a while now, so there is no change in the new system.  It's in the explanatory brochure at the slot club, but you have to search for it.

Wonder if many of us who are no-mailed will be excluded from the "always 3x points."

Very tricky of them -- 3x points all the time is a great advertising gimmick!!!  Many won't realize they have changed the basic calculation.

[vpFREE] Re: Stations - New Slot Club Calculations

The information about Stations new slot club calculations is
now on their website:

https://www.sclv.com/~/media/Images/Shared/Corporate/Station_Casinos_Boarding_Pass_Brochure_3X

or

http://tinyurl.com/pnonojz

Note that there is no swipe required for Chairman, President
and Platinum card holders to get the 3x points, but
Preferred and Gold players must swipe at the kiosk or
activate with the app every day.

Also we can now redeem points for free play right at the
machines without activating at the kiosk first.

I just saw a Station mailer and see it is talking about
points in a different way -Their present system has always
been hard to figure out because they state it differently
than other casinos:

* $1 Coin-In = 3 Points on Most Video Poker
* Cash, Free Play or Comps: 1000 Points = $1 (0.30%)

Now they are touting that "The Boarding Pass gives you
More.....Easy to Earn $1= 1 point... Get 3x points on all
games everyday. Guaranteed point multipliers every
day."Then there is an * (isn't there always?) and a note
that says: "Earn rate will vary and all point multipliers
are excluded on 100% payback video poker machines. Complete
details available at the rewards center.

When does "all mean "not all"?

I would have to see these details to decide whether this is
a downgrade, an upgrade, or just a different way of
describing the same value as always. Anyone seen these
details yet?????

vpFREE Posting Guidelines - 1 APR 2014

http://www.west-point.org/users/usma1955/20228/V/POL_P.htm

1. Everyone should read and be familiar with the vpFREE
FAQ before posting messages on vpFREE Forums.

2. Every message's subject line should accurately identify
the content of the message, to facilitate faster navigation
by interested or uninterested members.

3. If you reply to a message and change the subject matter,
either start a new thread (preferable) with a new subject
line or rename the subject line to reflect its new focus.

4. When replying to messages, quote just enough of the
previous post to maintain continuity. Delete the rest of
the previous post.

5. When replying to messages, clearly differentiate the
previous message(s) from your comments, so that it will be
easy to identify who wrote what.

6. Never post lengthy copyrighted material verbatim without
permission. This includes posts from non-vpFREE internet
forums. Instead, post a link to the material and/or a
summary. Short, credited excerpts may be quoted.

7. Don't use any vpFREE member's real name, even their
first name, on any vpFREE forum unless they themselves use
their real name there.

8. As a spam prevention measure, no one can upload to the
Files Directory on the vpFREE home page unless they get
temporary upload access from the Administrator.

9. Casino personnel probably monitor vpFREE Groups so posts
containing sensitive information should take this into
consideration.

10. Members are expected to observe the rules of
Netiquette , and to practice politeness and show good taste
in their vpFREE posts.

11. Any post that disagrees with vpFREE Dogma and
reaches contradictory conclusions, should be supported with
significant, persuasive documentation. Generalizations and
limited anecdotal evidence aren't persuasive.

12. Most vpFREE members rely on the forum for accurate
information, and may misunderstand, misinterpret or be
confused by tongue-in-cheek posts which are presented as
fact. Always make it very clear in your posts if they are
tongue-in-cheek, by using "smilies", stating that you're
kidding or something similar.

13. Use FREEvpFREE for any political, religious, or smoking
vs. non-smoking discussions. Non-partisan status reports
about smoking and non-smoking availability in casinos are OK
on vpFREE.

private email to the Administrator, after you have checked
the vpFREE Yahoo! Administrative Problems Directory.

comments, questions, suggestions or disagreements about
vpFREE policies or procedures to the Administrator via
