[vpFREE] Re: VegasInc: Station Casinos revamps Boarding Pass perks to entice gamblers

Since the exchange rate is still 1000 pts = $1, shouldn't the points earned since the last change be exactly the same and the points before the last change that were 600 pts to 1 for food be the ones that increased by 40%? Am I missing something? All my points were from after the last change and they stayed the same.

Return for 9/6 Jacks or Better Ultimate X is using an unmodified 9/6 JoB strategy:  99.1520%

Average multiplier would be     1.992127
times regular return                    99.5439%
divided by                                     2  to account for 10-coin bet instead of 5-coin bet.

5 million points and you are only Gold, I assume you were once higher tier. They have also cut the price of the buffets take that into account.

According to my online account, my point balance also increased a lot.

The card benefits on my online account also say President and Chairman get 75% off the buffet. And Gold gets 25% and Platinum 50%.

But that may not be right since the brochures available at the Rewards Centers say Gold is 0%, Platinum is 25% and President and Chairman are 50%.

I would say the brochure is more likely to be right. They ought to revise the online chart ASAP.

I just checked my account and found my points to have increased by 40%. My former 265,000 points balance is now 371,000 so my points are not devalued. As for card benefits, the chart still shows that President gets 75% off up to eight people and Chairman is 75% off unlimited. Coupled with the fact that the levels of play for all levels have been reduced makes this a much better play.

RE: [vpFREE] LVA Question of the Day - 16 SEP 2011

On last night's GWAE radio show, we spoke for a bit about the USC-UTAH scoring fiasco, and since we'd had Steve Fezzik on the show two days before this game, my comment was "Where's Fezzik when we need him?"
I didn't know it at the time, but the answer to my question was "In the LVA Question of the Day the day after the radio show." Bob To: vpFREE@Yahoogroups.com

Sorry, don't REALLY mean to make light of it, but I couldn't resist. But seriously, this is going on all over the country. Here in CT, the Mohegan Sun now gives NO points on all their best VP machines ( best meaning 98% and above), AND dramatically raised the number of coins in for points. There was even a report of someone who had his EARNED club status taken away because they didn't like his action.

A sad story, but one that appears to be spreading all to rapidly.

I just booked for a 7 day rental last night & the charge is $133.10 for the week. We've used them in the spring & had no problems.

[vpFREE] Re: New Stations Points Program

OH YEAH I forgot to mention, NO MORE 1/2 POINT FOOD on Senior Wed.
Still having the tournament.
This "new" club is going to kill their restuarants.
No advantage to using your points for food now. Just cash them out.

The 75% off the buffet for up to 8 people for President status USED to be the best deal in town. No more. NOW it is 50% off up to 4!
Same for chairman. The website was WRONG yesterday. I was shocked when I attended the meeting. I can't find club benefits anywhere on the website today.

Only Palms still has 75% off their buffet with the black card. Even there it is not a full 75% off as when the buffet is on sale, you get the discount off the original price only.

I was so upset when I left Stations yesterday I forgot to pick up my playcash!
