Ever since losing thousands of dollars in points at one place just
after slot clubs were invented, I've kept careful records of my
points. I write down how many points I start each session with and
how many points the card reader says I've made in each session before
I pull my card out. I compare those records to similar records in
past and future plays. I don't fight for every point I've lost, but
at least twice, after talking to the casino and getting nowhere, I've
gone to the Gaming Commission with detailed records and they've gotten
the casino to give me the points that weren't credited. Once, it took
the casino months, after I made 3 or 4 requests, to credit the points
I had earned.
[vpFREE] Multiplier discrepancy
If you use a 5x General Manager multiplier, especially from New Orleans, you should keep records of daily play and make sure they put in the correct multiplier. in November we discovered over $180 in comps missing from Nola 5x multiplier. Also some missing from Biloxi. Now on last trip kept as good a record as possible, and Now another over $100 (10000 points) apparently missing from Nola.
After the November experience I tried to keep even more accurate records, especially noting to end multiplier play at midnight.
Had to contact customer service via Harrahs.com in November, and now contacting them again.
Also, it can take days or weeks for multipliers to show up, so you have to keep checking your account. If they don't show within a couple of weeks, contact customer service.
Starting to wonder, could this be deliberate, since with computerized tracking there shouldn't be this much of a discrepancy.

I assume you don't recall Michael's work at the Barbary Coast. Say, how did that turn out for them? If you're curious, it's called Bill's now.

RE: [vpFREE] XVP Re: Southwest gift cards
You can get around the limitation on using only three gift cards by buying a
ticket worth about as much as four gift cards, canceling it, and then using
its value toward a new reservation. You can do this as many times as you
want to pay for an arbitrarily expensive ticket with gift cards.

In answer to your question , NO THEY WILL NOT COMBINE GIFT CARDS.
First thing I asked the agent when I ran into this problem. Two people
traveling on an "expensive" (over $200) airfare, needed to book two separate
tickets to use 4 gift cards. Max. 3 per reservation. I think they just
want you to not use the remaining balances on the cards, or forget about
them. After all isn't that the whole purpose of gift cards? The retailer
gets their money, but may or may not have to deliver the merchandise to the
consumer.

How about just bringing cash with you? Go to your bank before going to the casino.

At Pechanga, the ATM fee inside the casino is $4. But if you get your cash at the gas station right outside then you pay only $1.50. In Palm Springs you'll pay more inside the Spa casino than if you simply walk across the street and make your withdrawal inside the hotel. And so forth.

[vpFREE] XXXVP----- Re: LVA Question of the Day - 1 MAR 2012
If you get a chance, have a FAT BURGER. I would rank it ahead of even In
and Out Burger. We had one recently at Harrah's Lake Tahoe and the patty
actually looked and tasted like a home made burger.
My meal at a Five Guys Burger in Houston was one of the worst meals of any
kind I've had in 20+ years--soggy cold bun, etc. Will never go
back--nothing good to say about the food there.
