RE: [vpFREE] Xvp - Showstoppers at Wynn

Thanks for the info. and review.

Subject: [vpFREE] Xvp - Showstoppers at Wynn

Saw the show again, this time for a comp, and it was fabulous. As a local last time I was there I got about 5000 points, and they sent me $75 a week this month. This time I again played 5000 points, which was enough to give me 2 buffets (maybe more, they said buffets were 500 pts for new members, 1500 for others), and I asked for and got 2 Showstoppers tickets.

I was told that though the show is very popular, Wynn likes to make sure all seats are filled, so they sometimes give out tickets to people playing machines. I figured they might be more generous with comps too, especially on a weekday night, and sure enough got the show comped.

It really is a tremendous show, with great choreography and dancers, excellent singing, good costumes, a 30 piece orchestra, and showstopping Broadway numbers. Suitable for children over 12 I would say.

All singing, all dancing, all good!

[vpFREE] Re: VP software details

Optimum VP offers most of the features you're looking for. It implements
the Sorokin/Jazbo risk of ruin calculation, including RoR before a
royal. It plots the standard deviation curves. It has a tool to help you
evaluate the benefits of players clubs and comps. It allows you to edit
a strategy chart and evaluate the actual expected return of a chart.
Most importantly, it is the only true trainer, posting your choice of
strategy chart next to the game window and relating your plays to the chart.

Unfortunately, multiline games can not be implemented due to patents by
major companies, but that's not really important since the strategy is
the same as for the single line version.

For details and a free demo download, please visit my web site.

[vpFREE] Re: VP software details

I have used Win, Frugal, Wolf and VPFW. I pretty much scratch the surface of what the software can do, but I do use bankroll features whenever I'm looking at a new play. Both Wolf and VPFW will do most of the bankroll calculations you desire. VPFW bankroll features seem to be missing on 50/100 play and Spin. They are included on 3/5/10 play, STP and MS. It cannot handle PE. Wolf will handle games like PE OEJ, but doesn't get into simulating stuff like MS or STP or even multiplay. Both will do some things the other can't. Both are useful to me.

Got my May mailer from Ellis Island today. Yes, today is May 7. Promos on it I've not seen before: "Pick your 10- Visit the kiosk daily and receive one of the following offers: 10% off entree in the cafe or BBQ- 10% on the jackpot of your choice over $1200- $10 in pit play-$10 in free play."
Also: "Garden Giveaway-April showers bring May flowers- Wednesday, May 20th and 27th- Win $10 Home Depot gift card for every 500 base points you play! Limit 2 per Wednesday. See promotions booth for details."

I haven't played at all there since last year, other than playing the perks postcards freeplay through once and cashing out. Hey, Ellis Island, I'm just not that into you anymore.
I hope the info might be useful to someone, but am not sure if it was directed towards my card level only.
