Nice to hear from you again, Mickey. Your writings are a highlight of this group. I'd enjoy hearing more, when you get the chance.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: VP at Resorts in Atlantic City

II played at Resort's on Friday night. All I can say is they are giving less and less points for playing video poker. I played for about three hour's of 25 cent 8/ 5 Bonus, and got only two lousy point's! I'm thinking about going back to Borgota. BTW, Resort's also downgraded a lot of their 8/5 Bonus games. There are only a few bank's left, all uprights, which are very uncomfortable to play. My mail offers are going down, too.

Re: [vpFREE] Carry Money to LV

My husband and I visit Vegas about four times a year. We have always used travelers checks. We allow so much per day so I divide them up by each day per person. We cash them depending on how the previous day went. Sometimes we don't need to cash a days stash if the previous day went well.
The amount we allow is what we can afford to lose ( hopefully not but you know how that goes) and if you don't use all of your allotment for the day then you have more backup money for the next day. We keep all gambling money in a separate wallet from our spending money( food, shopping etc.) that way we can keep track of our wins and loses .
And if there are travelers checks left over then we use them on the next trip to Vegas .

Re: [vpFREE] Carry Money to LV

Here's a list of options..
1. Cash
2. Traveller's checks
3. Front money – have your bank transfer money to the casino cage.
4. ATM's
5. Line of credit at the casino.
6. Open a bank account at a Las Vegas bank and transfer money there.

My personal favorite is a line of credit at the casino, but only if it's a casino that you will go to on a regular basis, and only if you have the self control to not abuse it. I like a line of credit because it is convenient, there are no costs involved, and you don't have to worry about losing money
accidentally.

A.P.

[vpFREE] vpFREE Posting Guidelines - 1 MAR 2015

vpFREE Posting Guidelines - 1 MAR 2015

http://www.west-point.org/users/usma1955/20228/V/POL_P.htm

1. Everyone should read and be familiar with the vpFREE
FAQ before posting messages on vpFREE Forums.

2. Every message's subject line should accurately identify
the content of the message, to facilitate faster navigation
by interested or uninterested members.

3. If you reply to a message and change the subject matter,
either start a new thread (preferable) with a new subject
line or rename the subject line to reflect its new focus.

4. When replying to messages, quote just enough of the
previous post to maintain continuity. Delete the rest of
the previous post.

5. When replying to messages, clearly differentiate the
previous message(s) from your comments, so that it will be
easy to identify who wrote what.

6. Never post lengthy copyrighted material verbatim without
permission. This includes posts from non-vpFREE internet
forums. Instead, post a link to the material and/or a
summary. Short, credited excerpts may be quoted.

7. Don't use any vpFREE member's real name, even their
first name, on any vpFREE forum unless they themselves use
their real name there.

8. As a spam prevention measure, no one can upload to the
Files Directory on the vpFREE home page unless they get
temporary upload access from the Administrator.

9. Casino personnel probably monitor vpFREE Groups so posts
containing sensitive information should take this into
consideration.

10. Members are expected to observe the rules of
Netiquette , and to practice politeness and show good taste
in their vpFREE posts.

11. Any post that disagrees with vpFREE Dogma and
reaches contradictory conclusions, should be supported with
significant, persuasive documentation. Generalizations and
limited anecdotal evidence aren't persuasive.

12. Most vpFREE members rely on the forum for accurate
information, and may misunderstand, misinterpret or be
confused by tongue-in-cheek posts which are presented as
fact. Always make it very clear in your posts if they are
tongue-in-cheek, by using "smilies", stating that you're
kidding or something similar.

13. Use FREEvpFREE for any political, religious, or smoking
vs. non-smoking discussions. Non-partisan status reports
about smoking and non-smoking availability in casinos are OK
on vpFREE.

14. Promotional Posts - The preferred method for marketing
products and services on vpFREE is an un-obtrusive link
underneath the signature at the end of a post and/or
advertising on the vpFREE Exchange. In addition, a member
may make a maximum of one vp-related promotional post in any
6 month period.

15. If you have Yahoo administrative problems, send a
private email to the Administrator, after you have checked
the vpFREE Yahoo! Administrative Problems Directory.

16. Let the Administrator do the administrating. Send any
comments, questions, suggestions or disagreements about
vpFREE policies or procedures to the Administrator via
private email or post them on FREEvpFREE.

[vpFREE] Re: XVP : BJ IN CONNECTICUT

I never play blackjack, but the last I correlated things (I go to Mohegan about once a month) you were looking at earning about $15 per hour per $100/average bet. (this was craps and baccarat).
With that being said, is it even worth giving your card for $15 to $25 blackjack? My first thought, is that it's going to KILL your THEO. I also can't imagine you would garner any lounge access (if you do not have status) or discretionary comps (which, BTW, Mohegan is very fair about) at that level of play.

Is there anyone who can tell me the difference in BJ comp rates ( $15-25 games) between the two ?"
