In the early to mid-nineties I mostly played the poker rooms of Deadwood, Cripple Creek and Albuquerque. Cardplayer Magazine was a bi-weekly publication always found in those cardrooms. I read every issue from cover to cover. Everytime a new issue showed up, the very first article I went to was the Lenny Frome article.

Re: [vpFREE] LVRJ: Western in downtown Las Vegas will close in January
This is a shame. My buddy and I visited the Western last trip to Vegas. The
walk from El Cortez to Western is only 3 blocks, but along the way you will
meet the Dregs of Society. Once inside however, its not bad at all. Full pay
VP is everywhere - mostly coin dropper type machines. I had fun playing the
only ones I know of in Vegas, 50C full pay Jokers.
best...Tom

[vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer's LV Advisor Column - 15 NOV 2011
The end of the best play on NCL was when I went on the Star last year and found the $1 diamond mine, the .25 kool kat, cherry pies, diamond thief and bingo mahines removed. The trip before was an easy $500 wonging them. Gone also was a pretty good funbook with $10 matchplays.

Re: [vpFREE] How Many Jackpots in an Hour on same machine
When they had FPDW at Texas Station I once hit 2 royals and 1 set of deuces on the same machine in the same session. I cashed out $2400 and the tray was so full I had to yank some of the bills out so it could keep dispensing. This was a few years ago, in January, and that session bankrolled my quarter play for the whole year.

Recently hit 3 quad deuces playing NSUD within an hour on
the same machine.
I wondered what is the most jackpot hands members have
gotten in one hour on the same machine. I know many who
got 2 royals. Anyone with more?

That's exactly why I don't play there (or MS) anymore, you simply can't win imo...Rod

Re: [vpFREE] In what Atlantic City casinos can I find full pay machines?
The vpFree2 database is the best source for this information.
Here's the link to the page that contains the AC casinos:

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer's LV Advisor Column - 15 NOV 2011
I've never had any problem, at least thru September, just walking up to the Norwegian casino bar, showing my card, and getting any drink I wanted.
Possibly that changed in a month or so, or perhaps they're doing Bob a health-wise favor. I understand that that water stuff can get you all rusty inside. ; )

AC Hilton Triple Play BP Progressive - Hit main progressive for 11,600 and then hit another single line royal for 1,100 about 20 minutes later. My best single day ever.

On a promotion at the Pioneer/Laughlin I hit 2 royals about an hour apart on the same machine. I took a couple hour break then sat down on another machine and promptly hit another royal. But please, let's don't talk about that time I went a quarter million hands from royal to royal.

Advantage Play #3
Playing one coin slowly on quarters (or less) can make for some very cheap drinking if you have one of those casino cards. Can also be done on a penny slot.
